FordNFishinLover Posted January 17, 2011 Posted January 17, 2011 HOW ABOUT THEM PACKERS BOYS AND GIRLS!!! Rodgers 31 for 36 of passes for over 300 yards, and three touchdowns. (is that even possible?) How about williams with two interceptions, one which he picked for six. Not to mention last game he had the game winning interception. Shame we have to face those dag gum bears now! I mean they did beat the seahawks, what a achievement! I have no idea how we are going to beat them. : GO PACK GO! GO PACK GO! GO PACK GO! Quote
Super User grimlin Posted January 17, 2011 Super User Posted January 17, 2011 Got a feeling it's gonna be a close game again. Rogers was on fire yesterday....hell the entire team was...If they play like this against the bears,Chicago doesn't stand a chance. I watch the game today and Chicago's field looks like crap. Wonder if it's gonna play against the packers. That's the only thing I'm concerned about. Favre who? ;D Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted January 17, 2011 BassResource.com Administrator Posted January 17, 2011 There's no doubt Packers are going to the SB if they keep playing like just did. The 'Hawks played like crap and still racked up 24 points against the Bears. Buh bye Chicago! Quote
CSimon2 Posted January 17, 2011 Posted January 17, 2011 BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH!!!!! ;D That is all I am going to say to keep myself out of trouble. :-X Quote

Super User SoFlaBassAddict Posted January 17, 2011 Super User Posted January 17, 2011 GBP & the Steelers in the superbowl. Those are my picks. Would make for a heck of a Super Bowl game. Quote
Super User deaknh03 Posted January 17, 2011 Super User Posted January 17, 2011 Now that my Pats were exposed as frauds, I think the Pack are the best team left. Great defense and super offense, only potential issue being if their rookie running back doesn't keep running like he has been. Packers will win the super bowl this year, too good of a team peaking at the best possible time, and Cutler's a sour pussed bum Quote

The 'Hawks played like crap and still racked up 24 points against the Bears. Buh bye Chicago! If I recall, it was 28-0 and then 28-3 when the Bears decided to get cute. Plus they didn't throw much in the second half. 21 points in slop time don't mean much. The Bears held them to 34 yards rushing after they ran wild on the Saints. Buh Bye Hawks! Welcome back Pack. Might actually be some competition. Quote
detroit1 Posted January 17, 2011 Posted January 17, 2011 Let me start off by saying that i hate the Bears. Always have, always will. I hope the Pack beats them in a close game and goes on to win the SB. In the AFC, i really don't care who wins, and although i have a lot of respect for the Steelies, i'm kinda tired of them. But don't listen to me, i just finished my 30th year as a Lions season ticket holder... Quote

Super User slonezp Posted January 18, 2011 Super User Posted January 18, 2011 Gonna be Bears/Jets in the big game with the Bears coming out on top. The Pack BEARLY beat the Pack at home 3 weeks ago. It was 3-0 thru the 3rd quarter. Bears put the Pack to shame the first game. This year was the perfect example of the "Any given Sunday" theory. Quote

Please tell me how you put us to shame our first game? You beat us by 3 points..... We beat our selves that game, you had no chance if we didnt shoot ourselfs in the foot. With a stupid fumble by Jones, and the ridiclus amount of penalities against us. Yeah we had 18 penalities for 152 yards, id imagine the seahawks could have beat us with those kind of numbers . Quote

Us ??? Your avatar says Illinois. Did you move to cheeseland and not change it? Very close game at "your" stadium a few weeks back and if the Bears didn't go pass happy, as they had nothing to win or lose, maybe a different story. Also, If "we" don't shoot ourselves in the foot with an int. late in the game, who knows? : Quote
Uncle Leo Posted January 18, 2011 Posted January 18, 2011 The NFC Championship Game is between the Bears and the Packers. For true fans they know what that means. Both teams play differently when they play each other and home-team advantage means something even though Packers fans travel well. Both games this year were nail biters and home field advantage came into play. This will be a great game, one that I am looking forward to as a Bears fan. I am sure all players will be ready. Remember no one gave either team much of a chance. Greenbay with all their injuries and Chicago due to inconsistency. It is amazing how both teams pulled it together. Quote
Nice_Bass Posted January 18, 2011 Posted January 18, 2011 Should be a great game. If Bears can hold the turnover ratio in their favor, i am confident of a win, if allow cutler to get sacked and start throwing ints'- the welcome to the sb pack fans- it has been a while for you. Go Bears!!!!! Lets also not forget some of the Packers games this season- it has not all be fun and games...As bears fans we understand this about ourselves. They lost to CHI, WAS, MIA, ATL, DET, NE. What is scary is- NE and ATL are out- lets hope to add GB to that list. Quote

Super User fishinfiend Posted January 18, 2011 Super User Posted January 18, 2011 I guess the Saints can take a rest. The Packers are now my least favorite team. > We definately got outplayed. The packers did awesome and I hope they make it to and beat the Jets in the Superbowl. Quote

Yes, i did find it funny how the bears had nothing to play for that game, yet they kept their starters in. And lost. But, as i see it you won the early game, we won the late game. The score is tied, so i say good luck. Ya'll are going to need it!! ;D Quote

We have the smarts, skill, and heart to win each of those games but we didnt finish them. The only game i really felt like we got outbeat was the Atlanta game earlier in the season. But if you will notice, we havent lost by more than 4 points this whole year. 4 points! Every game was in our reach. An i hope cutler is ready, matthews, hawk, and woodsons going to be all over him. northern basser Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 My Vikes had their shot last year and blew it. Its cool to see 2 teams from our division going head to head in the championship game. I'm expecting a real good game. If I had to pick I would give it to the Pack slightly. Anything can happen with a rivalry of this scale. Quote
