MyKeyBe Posted January 19, 2011 Author Posted January 19, 2011 Not a chance. But I like your confidence! I'm not confident, I'm cocky like most Steeler fans! JK I know thats why you all hate us. So many haters... Quote
FordNFishinLover Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 "Could pits go all the way?" Umm, No. Quote
Lucky Craft Man Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 Good one OHIO! let me rephrase, who has won the most big games in the last ten years? Who has the best winning percentage in the last 17 years in the nfl? Unfortunately, the Patriots have been caught cheating (on several occasions) and if the NFL had any balls, some of those victories (and Superbowls wins) would have been stripped from them. I used to be a Patriots fan (particularly when they had Drew Bledsoe), but with some of the illegal antics Belichick has been caught doing (and then acting ignorant to the fact the what he was doing was against league rules), you can't have much respect for that organization. As far as if Pittsburgh can go all the way, I would love to think so, but I am not as confident as I was in years past. I guess time will tell. Quote
BadKarma42 Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 I saw/heard an interesting stat over the weekend. Essetially, it showed Brady's early and late playoff wins. His record after spygate is like 4-6 now. Of course, this is all recollection. Quote
bassnleo Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Thought this thread needed brought back for the non-believers. "Could the Pittsburgh Steelers go all the way?" I'll say YES. LOL Quote

Super User Dwight Hottle Posted January 24, 2011 Super User Posted January 24, 2011 Us PA boys all think a like. Quote
Super User grimlin Posted January 24, 2011 Super User Posted January 24, 2011 Right now it's any body's ball game.I've said Maybe yes from the very beginning. I could already see it. Even though Green Bay is the favorite to win,you still cannot underestimate Steelers. Both teams when they pull ahead, they seem to start to slack off and blow their lead.Honestly I think whoever remains strong all the way through the game will win. We'll see....I always say "maybe".I think it's gonna be all the way down to the last second game. Quote
zero limit Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Anyone want to change their vote? Yes. Now that my Bears are hibernating (again) and I can't stand the peckers. So Go steelers Quote
lightsout Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 It'll be a good game. I think pittsburgh is a physically and mentally tough team. Roethlisberger simply comes through when needed. If the steelers protect the ball (green bay has really benifited from turnovers) I say they win. Quote
flyhatch Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 I like their chances. I think they need to have the running game going to sustain drives and eat clock keeping the pack attack off the field. Quote
CAdeltaLipRipper Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 Ugh pretty dissapointed with both play off games.Ha i like how the bears almost beat the packerswith a 3rd string quarterback. Jets dominated the steelers the second half. And now i have to go for the packers lol Quote
Super User Redlinerobert Posted January 25, 2011 Super User Posted January 25, 2011 I'm going with the Steelers for this one. Quote

Hate to have to agree, but if Hanie could have got the game to OT, I think they would have. Go Packers !! Quote

Look at the scoreboard, the Steelers dominated the Jets in the first 1/2 quite a bit more. ;D Here we go!!! Quote
