Super User J Francho Posted January 7, 2011 Super User Posted January 7, 2011 Paul. and Fish Chris. Also urban_redneck, but he never posts. That's why I hate these posts....you always forget someone, or some two or three. Add them to my list as well. Quote
Super User Fishing Rhino Posted January 7, 2011 Super User Posted January 7, 2011 I'm going to put a different perspective on this. For my money, it's me. Not because I believe I could outfish them, but it's because I derive the greatest satisfaction, enjoyment, pleasure etc. from my fishing, not theirs. Quote
lynyrdsky1 Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 RW hands down based on knowlege and help. Quote
FIAB Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 I'd say who ever is in the back of my boat. They always seem to catch more then me. I must be a good guide. ;D I also have to ask are we talking competitions or size? Huge strategy difference imo. Fish Chris has posted up some monsters and has talked about this before. Fourbizz has piles of big ones, and many more members. I'll vote for G-MAN if I can get a ride in the back of his boat ;D Quote
Super User skunked_again Posted January 7, 2011 Super User Posted January 7, 2011 long list. hard to debate against Paul but Ike brings a new angle. fourbizz also makes this fishing thing look too easy. i wonder what type of a mark this young man makes if he goes 100% bass fishing. Quote
Triton21 Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 BIG O Check out his pictures on Rage Tail forum. Kelley Quote
Super User Long Mike Posted January 7, 2011 Super User Posted January 7, 2011 I can speak only from experience. Fishfordollars wins, hands down. Quote
Branuss04 Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 "I'm going the "lesser known" route... I'll throw a shout out for Jay Lillpop (Fourbizz). He is the SOB that got me started throwing these things and he has always been there with info when I asked. I respect what he has done with the swimbait. Dude's a stick." Quote
fishermantony Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 Dwights pics have been my favorite by far (affliction for smallies) and I'm sure he is an unbelievable angler. I've read quite a few posts praising and thanking RW so he's got to be awesome too......and of course IKE! Quote

Super User SirSnookalot Posted January 7, 2011 Super User Posted January 7, 2011 Impossible to say, not everyone posts about their catch, weighs them or even photographs. Quote
Super User Redlinerobert Posted January 7, 2011 Super User Posted January 7, 2011 Based on those that post their catches, and excluding pros, it's a tie in my book between Fourbizz and Paul. Quote
Super User Catt Posted January 7, 2011 Super User Posted January 7, 2011 bait__Monkey, he's caught all of us Quote
Super User firefightn15 Posted January 7, 2011 Super User Posted January 7, 2011 Best fisherman? I wouldn't even want to make that call. I have met, spoke, or pm'd with several members hear and the pool is just to great considering all the variables included. Take Kelley for instance, He doesn't post up wall hangers week after week, but spend a day in a boat with him and you'll have vivid memories for life. He's a great fisherman in my book. Now you take Paul, Steve, John or Bizz and the many others with the different species and lunkers they post along with the back stories they give and you have yet more great fisherman from the pool. Then there are the fishwomen like Deb and Keri; no slouches there either! I've seen a few of the fish Keri has posted and Deb's hard work in the sport doesn't go un-noticed either. Love, passion, luck, experience, knowledge.....all different reasons for being the best fisherman. Yup, too many around here, including the "unsung" fishermen to choose one person from. 8-) Quote

Super User senile1 Posted January 7, 2011 Super User Posted January 7, 2011 Impossible to say, not everyone posts about their catch, weighs them or even photographs. Exactly. How often does Tom Redington or George Welcome make posts? These guys are great fishing guides and great anglers but they don't post very often. Any discussion of best anglers would have to include them. Who knows what other talented individuals exist among our membership of which most of us are unaware? Quote
NateFollmer Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 BASSClary.... I don't know... There are a lot of awesome guys on here. All the mods for example... Speedbead, Boatnik, SirSnookalot (taught me a lot about salt fishing too), SoFlaBassAddict, Catt... Too many good guys here to name, so this isn't even the beginning of a good list Quote
Super User SPEEDBEAD. Posted January 7, 2011 Super User Posted January 7, 2011 Hands down, the best net man is BadKarma42. Quote
