Holy crap. I'm back..

Who do you guys think is the best on this site given what you've read, seen, been given advice from...? Please, exclude me from this, as I started.

Dwight gets my vote. Catches monsters, year round, MANY species.

I'll have to vote for "IKE". He is a classic champ you know. Hard to argue with that.

He has been active on the site lately.

I was just gonna type that!

Ha. I definitley indugled myself during the holidays, but because of moving, the big divorce and custody battle bass fishing has taken a back seat.

I mean.. I have been absent for a while...

Well, welcome back, you have a little catching up to do. If you like I'll tell Ike at the boat show this saturday that you voted against him. LOL.

If any one you are attending the houston show this Saturday i believe he will be in the Bowden Marine booth. Not sure of the time though.

Jack, just call me, put him on the phone and I will tell him.

If i thought I could you can bet I would.

On another note, sorry to hear of the divorce. Been there, hope everything goes ok.

I'd say who ever is in the back of my boat. They always seem to catch more then me. I must be a good guide. ;D

I also have to ask are we talking competitions or size? Huge strategy difference imo.

Fish Chris has posted up some monsters and has talked about this before.  Fourbizz has piles of big ones, and many more members.

Dwight would be on the list.  Randall would be another.  WRB has a fish bigger than most will ever even get near.  Fourbizz has a pile of monsters, and he's just a snot nose brat.

If we are talking all species, not just bass, I would have to say J Francho and Fourbizz. They catch some big fish.

Dwight seems like he only catches big fish as well.

It would be hard to pick the best because not everyone posts in the Fishing Trip section and the people that do don't post about every trip.

I have fished with Ike and I was blown away with his knowledge and passion. He really thinks like a bass. If I could fish with anyone simply to learn, it would be Ike.  But as far as a regulars here on the boards, I would say Fish Chris (Based on the pictures I have seen). Not sure if he is the best, but his pics are no doubt.

Best in the world is Al Lindner, that is just my opinion not based on tournament earnings obviously. Just love the guy.

I'll have to give the nod to CATT for behavior and overall knowledge of the species... Raul on lures and the way their action or lack there of relates to catching bass, and gotta go with Fish Chris for ability to catch fish based on the pictures he has posted.

I will say i have to give the "newbie" nod( a member less than a year) to Sean W. He has had some interesting points and seems to know his stuff.

And for the Youngsters (under 18) BASSclary. Even if some of his post are controversial, at least he has offered his opinions and he is definitely learning something by being on this site .

I wouldn't even begin to venture a guess based on someone's participation and pictures posted in a forum due to the fact that it would be too subjective.  Out of approximately 30,500 members there are probably quite a few great anglers who rarely post.
