No conspiracy theory here; could this be responsible?

http://www.aolnews.com/2011/01/07/magnetic-north-pole-shift-affects-tampa-airport/

Unlikely, the poles are constantly moving. Check out the movement of the dip pole during the 20th century:

Note that all of the causes of death are unrelated.

Here is my reasoning as to why I believe the Gov't is hiding something from us...

Red Winged black birds aren't as common as a regular black bird. Most of the time they are grouped together with regular black birds. The only problem with these birds dying wasw that almost all of the birds that died were red winged black birds. The scientists say that the reason they died was because the fireworks on New Years Eve disoriented the birds and they died from trauma. The 1st case happened on New Years Eve as people were out partying. This makes their reason sound plausible, but I have never seen or heard of black birds dying on July 4th when more people are shooting off fireworks. Also there was another case in Louisiana a couple days after the new year. I wouldn't think that a black bird would stay disoriented for days at a time. None of the reports of the black birds dying makes sense to me. Something just isn't right about these reports. This is the reason as to why I believe the Gov't is hiding the truth from us.

Please, look at actual science and facts before accusing the government.

What actual science? The science of fireworks killing the birds? That is the dumbest reasoning i have ever heard. Black birds are not nocturnal so they do not fly at night. The main theory is that they were flying at night. Besides, I have never heard of somthing like this the day after 4th of july.

yeah, fireworks did it. Thousands of birds died of fright from fireworks. Sounds logical to me. :D

It was storming that night. I live 30 miles from Beebe. I believe there was also hail in the area, but I could be wrong about that. Add fireworks to the mix (but I doubt this, Beebe is a small town) and you have stressed birds flying at night, in the presence of updrafts, freezing rain, lightening, high winds, hail. There were also tornadoes associated with the storm.

You're right, birds normally don't fly at night. But when stress is applied, individuals do things they normally don't do, which is most likely what happened in this occurrence. I must say, that the birds were in fact flying at night. If they weren't flying at night, then how did they fall from the sky during the night? The government dropped them from planes? Chemtrails? The Russians did it?  No, I know:  Jay-Z and the Illuminati are certainly responsible.

What science? That facts are that mass kills occur very frequently. I honestly wouldn't waste my time conjuring up conspiracies about this.
