Super User J Francho Posted January 6, 2011 Super User Posted January 6, 2011 Kind of saw that coming. Its now the way it should have been, before they even hired Wade. Quote
GTrombly Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 Now they just need to replace romo or keep kitna. He'll be better next year. Quote
Super User J Francho Posted January 6, 2011 Super User Posted January 6, 2011 Yeah.....right. LMAO. Quote
Super User Sam Posted January 6, 2011 Super User Posted January 6, 2011 Darn. I was pulling for Satan to go to the Cowgirls. As for a QB, lets see where Luck ends up. Quote

Captain Obvious Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 I like him and think he'll be much better than Coach Cupcake Wade Quote
Super User BASSclary Posted January 6, 2011 Super User Posted January 6, 2011 Why does everyone hate Romo? He is a good QB. Quote
Super User J Francho Posted January 6, 2011 Super User Posted January 6, 2011 I don't hate him, but he's not a "good" QB yet. In fact, he's average. He has a ton of potential, based on some of the better performances, but he's no elite. Quote
Super User BASSclary Posted January 6, 2011 Super User Posted January 6, 2011 I'm not saying your a Romo hater, im just saying A LOT of people are. And I agree he still has to develop some more, and has high potential IMO, but he can be very inconsistent. Quote
GTrombly Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 I don't think that romo will ever be a great qb. The cowboys started winning when romo went down. Kitna has a lot of experience, he's been in the league for awhile, and he can throw the ball. Quote

No Tony, Still Wade... Loss to Jacksonville Week 9.No Tony, Still wade... Loss to Green Bay. Week 10.No Tony, but Garret instead of Wade... Win against NYG. Notice how we started winning when Jason became head coach, not when Romo went down. They lost the first two weeks with John Kitna. Quote

Kitna just needed some first team snaps and to get in rhythm with the receivers. It doesn't matter though I would be happy if the cowboys lost all their games. Quote
Super User J Francho Posted January 6, 2011 Super User Posted January 6, 2011 I'll take a healthy Romo over a 39 year old Kitna. Quote
Super User Grey Wolf Posted January 6, 2011 Super User Posted January 6, 2011 I'll take a healthy Romo over a 39 year old Kitna. X2 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How can anyone get excited about an old man. Quote
Super User bilgerat Posted January 6, 2011 Super User Posted January 6, 2011 ALL of the 'great' qb's had elite offensive lines that allowed them to do what they do best. Look beyond one man. Quote

VolFan Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 Because he won way more games than the kid! Quote
lightsout Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 My main concern is whether tthe nucleus of the team the past 3 years has reached their peak and that team has missed their chance somewhat. Newman, Witten, Davis, James, columbo, kosar, Gurode, barber, etc all arent going to get any better. Ratliff had a pretty bad year. We have GOT to get a Free safety and a new kicker, for the past 4 seasons we've lost games because of those posistions. The game is more vertical than it used to be, and the back end of secondary continually gets burnt. Quote
Super User BASSclary Posted January 8, 2011 Super User Posted January 8, 2011 Agree we need a new FS. Although I dont think we need a new kicker, I think competition will make Buehler better. Thats why they signed another onto the roster. Quote
