GLoomis711 Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 I love being on BR during school. Makes it go by much faster. Bass fishing > School. And yet I still have a 3.75 GPA. School is a joke. Quote
Super User BASSclary Posted January 5, 2011 Super User Posted January 5, 2011 Haha I go on occasionally, but its a pain because its blocked on computer's, so after every "blocked Warning" I have to copy the blocked address, and then add an S after the http. Quote

lynyrdsky1 Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 Coincidently, my grades have never been better since I've been on BR haha. School comes first tho. If my grades drop you won't see me for awhile. Quote
Hamby Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 Man...i don't know how people find the time. At my high school, there isn't time to do anything. Well, except during lunch. At my brother's high school, he can whip out his cell in the middle of class if he feels like it. Quote

Nibbles Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 If you're smart you'll take advantage of AP courses in high school and study hard for the AP exams so you can cruise by during college taking minimum hours every semester. Frees up a ton of time for fishing as well as internships/jobs during the semester which can help you beef up your resume and earn money to feed the bait monkey. Best decision I ever made. Quote

I love to hear about people knowing a little Rush, other than Tom Sawyer ! ;D But it is an amazing album, and know that they made the album as a last stand for history of the band. I don't know if you've watched it but even if you're not a big Rush fan, you should look into the documentary Rush: Beyond the Lighted Stage. Quote
Scorcher214 Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 I'm a senior, and I'm gonna be going to a tradeschool after high school. So i know what i want to do and i have a plan. Super User J Francho Posted January 7, 2011 Super User Posted January 7, 2011 In high school, there would be a battle of the bands pep rally. One year, my band played The Trees/Xanadu. The next year, we played Cygnus X-1 and Spirit of Radio. Both left most of the students and staff slack jawed. We won both times, LOL. Our encores were usually Scorpions or AC/DC, LOL. Talk about contrast. Quote
