Lucky Craft Man Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 Good enough record to win the NFC West. I'm sure the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the New York Giants are not that happy about it, but I guess that's how it goes. Quote
Super User Tin Posted January 3, 2011 Super User Posted January 3, 2011 Especially when the Giants beat them 41-7 and Tampa beat them by over 20. Quote
OHIO Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 It is pretty bad, but the Bucs shouldn't be mad. I don't think they deserved to get into the playoffs either. They only beat one team over .500 and that was the Saints today. They aren't a great team. Quote
Super User SPEEDBEAD. Posted January 3, 2011 Super User Posted January 3, 2011 I hope they make it to the Super Bowl. Quote
Super User Grey Wolf Posted January 3, 2011 Super User Posted January 3, 2011 They qualified for the play offs under the existing rules , it'll be interesting to see if those rules are changed in the near future . I doubt it if they will. Quote
Lucky Craft Man Posted January 3, 2011 Author Posted January 3, 2011 I hope they make it to the Super Bowl. Actually, I do, too. I would love to see a Superbowl rematch from the 2005 season. Quote

preach4bass Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 They were only 7-9 because of their tough divisional play. If they were in any other division they would have been 13-3. Quote
Super User 5bass Posted January 3, 2011 Super User Posted January 3, 2011 They were only 7-9 because of their tough divisional play. If they were in any other division they would have been 13-3. ;D More like 3-13 in any other division. As for the playoffs, it's going to be one and done, just like the Chefs. Quote

BassResource.com Advertiser FD. Posted January 4, 2011 BassResource.com Advertiser Posted January 4, 2011 As for the Bucs not beating anyone with a winning record. Lost to Steelers - Playoff team Lost to Atlanta, by a foot, twice - Playoff team Lost to New Orleans - Playoff team Lost to Baltimore - Playoff team Lost to the Back Judge errrr Detroit. Not a bad year for a team that started 11 rookies. Under the current rules we did not deserve to be in the playoffs, but wait till next year. Quote
