Nibbles Posted December 25, 2010 Posted December 25, 2010 I was told ahead of time that I was gonna get a check from my mom for Christmas, so I went ahead and bought myself some gear over the course of the last month for being such a good boy this year. ;D So now I have added a supertuned CV-Z 103, a carbon fiber handle to go with it and another Alphas Ito to my collection. GLoomis711 Posted December 25, 2010 Posted December 25, 2010 I'm 15, and my brother is 18. This is our last year most likely getting actual presents( Which I'm fine with). Most everything was from the black friday sale. Two Curado's. Dobyns 805 Flip/Punch Save Phace Ski Mask. Glacier fishing gloves. Kodak Playsport Camera. Ikes book. A bunch of deep diving crankbaits. I feel spoiled, and am asking my dad if he wants one of the curado's, he has none and I have 4. Quote

I'm gonna pick up a St. Croix 6' 6" ultra lite rod with my gift cards. Time to retire the BPS Micro Lite after 5 years. It has served me well. There's an old joke that goes "A horse walks into a bar and orders a beer. As the bartender is pouring it for him, he asks the horse "Why the long face ?" For some reason that cracks my wife up every time. It's just one of those things. I found this online and got it for her. It was a hit... http://www.zazzle.com/funny_horse_mug_why_the_long_face-168860425921326069 It's not about what it costs (no, it wasn't the only thing she got ) That should keep me in good graces for a day or two... Super User bilgerat Posted December 25, 2010 Super User Posted December 25, 2010 Yes Glenn, I entered Cabela's and BPS through the site. Your check is in the mail... Quote

Super User Tin Posted December 26, 2010 Super User Posted December 26, 2010 This is another reason why I hate this holiday. Take a second and look at the people who are getting their homes foreclosed on and who can't afford to make ends meet, or who recently lost jobs. Instead we are transfixed on making sure we get $20 spools of f'n fishing line. Maybe instead of buying someone "a bunch of crap" you could actually think about what someone who loves you unconditionally really wants. Pathetic > Quote
