Nice_Bass Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 NIke Lunar GLide I actually liked the shoe and could not figure out why I have not seen it... -The Nike LunarGlide+ is the most gender-specific shoe in the Lunar Series. From the inside out and the bottom up, it is built for a women's foot and body. It also includes an ultra-light, ultra-strong Flywire upper to provide a lightweight, snug yet flexible fit. And while it offers the most plush cushioning, it is also the most supportive of the three shoes. Quote

What a great marketing idea - I can hear the commercial now: "Strong enough for a professional model/fisherman, but made for a woman." For the record, I currently have a pair of Mizuno's that have been incredibly comfortable. Quote
bigfruits Posted December 22, 2010 Posted December 22, 2010 as for wading , im still searching for a slide or flip flop that does well in water for extended periods of time. reefs keep catching my eye and are super comfortable , but $50 for a pair of sandals seems kinda pricey to me. has anyone owned a pair of reefs? for a full sandal (not flip flop) id look at Keen Newports if you can find them on sale. they have rubber over the toes that will protect against rocks and they are built to last. ive used mine alot in the past two yrs and theyre doing great. I.rar Posted December 22, 2010 Posted December 22, 2010 http://www.keenfootwear.com/product/ss10/shoes/men/trailhead/newport ? they are kinda ugly and a bit expensive , but a machine washable , water-safe shoe sounds interesting. ill check em out. thanks. Quote
bigfruits Posted December 22, 2010 Posted December 22, 2010 yeah, theyre def not pretty! the black ones are almost presentable. you can find them for about 50 bucks online. when its cold out, put some wool socks on. they will dry faster and maintain more warmth when wet than cotton. Quote

I have extremely flat feet and I roll my ankles bad. This shoe was recommended to me and since I've had them, I haven't rolled once. It's also made it so the insides of my knees don't hurt when I run. So far wearing a women's shoe hasn't effected my modeling career too bad Quote
Super User CWB Posted December 30, 2010 Super User Posted December 30, 2010 Been wearing a couple pairs of my son's hand me down New Balance shoes the last few years. Comfortable as h*ll and I don't think I could wear them out if I tried. He wears 14 wide now so I can't ride that gravy train anymore. :-[ Quote

He's been wearing my little brothers shoes for a couple years now but after little bro hit that growth spurt at 15 and jumped up 2 sizes, dad's out of luck. Quote
GTrombly Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 The last two pair i have bought are nike frees and they are super comfortable. I will not buy another pair of under armor shoes after i had a pair of cleats tear down the side after 2 weeks of bar league softball. Quote
Super User 5bass Posted December 31, 2010 Author Super User Posted December 31, 2010 bar league softball. We call it 'beer league' here. High quality fun and entertainment either way. ;D Quote
Hamby Posted December 31, 2010 Posted December 31, 2010 I'm hopping on the new balance boat. On my 4th pair in a few years, and i still have the first pair. The bottoms on the first two are noticeably worn, and the padding inside is broken in just like any shoe would be. But there's no holes, the sole isn't detaching from the top of the shoe, they still look good, and they're made in the USA. Quote
Luke at Gouldsboro Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 I have Nike shox (which are great), and I also just bought Reebok zig tech's. I wear the reeboks's when I go to the gym, because the shox are really dirty Quote
