Super User BASSclary Posted December 26, 2010 Super User Posted December 26, 2010 Ouch, but I agree. But those russian girls that sell the sea salt got me once. Haha you mean like the ones at the mall who work those little islands? Quote
Super User BASSclary Posted December 26, 2010 Super User Posted December 26, 2010 Yes. They are tricky. The last thing they made me buy was a CHI hair - straightener last year for $100. Lady loved it but my wallet didn't. If you want them to go away, call them Lithuanian. It gets on their nerves! ;D Quote
Super User BASSclary Posted December 26, 2010 Super User Posted December 26, 2010 I'm Lithuanian... Really? They just dont like it because they're russian. Nothing against Lithuania Quote
flippin and pitchin Posted December 26, 2010 Posted December 26, 2010 It's not what I got her....it's what she gave me. Another year of being cancer free. I'm a lucky man. Try and put a ribbon on that gift. Quote

Super User Fishing Rhino Posted December 26, 2010 Super User Posted December 26, 2010 All I got for my wife this year was a ten dollar digital cooking thermometer, the kind that slides into a sleeve that clips into a pocket. We had a couple of major expenses this year, one of which is that our septic system is being repaired and some big vet bills for our dogs. We joke that those are our presents to each other. We don't even bother with cards. For our kids, and the younger family relatives we do the gifting thing. Anniversaries, birthdays, Valentines day we do celebrate with cards and gifts. Quote
Super User Wayne P. Posted December 26, 2010 Super User Posted December 26, 2010 GT, you fell for the "can I ask you a question" tactic, huh? Quote
