frogtog Posted December 26, 2010 Posted December 26, 2010 Man we are getting pounded here in eastern NC. 1" of snow around here shuts everything down except for the dummies in the ditch. ;D This should be fun to watch. Quote
Super User Micro Posted December 26, 2010 Super User Posted December 26, 2010 We're at 6+ inches on my back deck as of right now, with 5+ more expected. First white Christmas we've had in 20 years. Quote

Super User Sam Posted December 26, 2010 Super User Posted December 26, 2010 Around five inches in my house by Bosher's Dam on the James River at 10:30 on the 26th. Still falling. It is pretty. Quote
Super User J Francho Posted December 26, 2010 Super User Posted December 26, 2010 We're actually not getting anything noticeable, a couple inches each day. Should be in the 40s this week. Quote

To cold for me ;D we have about 10" as of now and it's still coming down. We will probably lose power, dam TV just went off so it won't be long now. Y'all have fun and be careful. Quote

frogtog Posted December 27, 2010 Author Posted December 27, 2010 Just got in from cleaning parking lots for the banks. We have about 14" on the ground. That's a lot of snow for us. Last time I seen this much snow was in the late 60's I must be getting old. Quote
Super User Jigfishn10 Posted December 27, 2010 Super User Posted December 27, 2010 Just finished moving the 20"-24" we got...Still expecting another wave to come thru...Not outta the woods yet. Quote
Super User J Francho Posted December 28, 2010 Super User Posted December 28, 2010 Everyone dug out yet? Quote
northern basser Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 In southern MN we have gotten 3' (give or take?) of snow in the last 2 1/2 weeks. This thurs. or fri. were expecting another foot. This is by far the most snow we've had in many years and the winter isn't even close to over. At this time we are 1" away from being the snowiest Dec. on record so come fri. we should be breaking records. The snow is so deep at intersections and the ends of driveways that its getting dangerous to pull out anywhere. Quote
frogtog Posted December 28, 2010 Author Posted December 28, 2010 You guy's are to tough for me. If I were you I would get me a snow blower and tie it to the top of my car. I would start driving till someone asked me what I had on the top of my car and that's where I would move. ;D Quote
Super User deaknh03 Posted December 28, 2010 Super User Posted December 28, 2010 the golden snowball, a new movie starring jimmy streams and charlotte tinkler... Quote

Also, our bass fishing is very seasonal here. Quote
bass or bass ? Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 Parts of the area north east of the Phoenix city limits will see a dusting of snow tomorrow. It's been @ 9 years since I had any in my yard. Temps in the 20's overnight tomorrow. Quote
