Around here we only have 2 seasons, winter and FISHING.  That's it.

I didn't sink the tree, it's a fake and it's pre-lit so it would be too costly to do that with it. ;D  I'm sure there will be a lot of that going on soon though.  A local lake here allows Christmas tree dumping and people just pile them up at the ramp and leave them for whoever wants to take a bunch out and sink them.  You'll see guys with 12' jon boats and 3 or 4 trees, a bunch of rope, several concrete blocks, and barely enough room to sit in the boat with it all, heading up the lake in 30 degree weather just to sink a bunch in a private spot that they will only know about.  When it's that cold out, no one else will be there to observe where they sink them.  Good plan really, but I'll just find them in the spring on the graph and fish them anyway. ;D  The lake is not so big that it can't be done, and with a 9.9 on an overloaded jon boat, they ain't goin' very far anyway. :D;)

I am of the opinion that as long as they are down by Easter it's all good. ;)
