Snow on the way for a lot of the Atlantic coast. Predicted amounts run from 4" to 15" and beyond.

Time to go hoard toilet paper and bread... ::)

I'll be out with the kids sledding. Also I will get to see how our Honda CRV does in the snow. Bring it on, it doesn't bother me in the least.

I like the snow too, except for driving in it. It can be fun if no one else is on the roads though... ;D

This is the first white Christmas for me in awhile.

We saw this same show with 18" locally a week or so ago, My half ton Chevy w/7' blade moved more snow in 12 hrs. than it's had in the last 12 years.  Good luck!

Ever since I graduated from school and started working I decided that snow sucks. I still have to work when it snows...it just makes things more difficult for me.

I shoveled snow like it was my job last year...I'm done with snow for a long time.

24 hours ago this storm was tracked to go out to sea. Things have certainly changed big time. I'll be heading out to the store at 7am for the normal order.

Looking forward to that trip :P

Buy a plow and call in sick. You'll probably make more money.

Last night the forecast, oops, that's now the "futurecast" (sounds more impressive, don't ya know?) called for the snow to begin around noon.

Let the dog out at around four this morning and light snow was falling.

Guess I'll hook up the plow after breakfast.

Our daughter, who lives about forty miles west of Atlanta, GA, had three or four inches of snow on the ground and big flakes were still falling at around nine o'clock last night.

Richmond, Virginia could get a foot of the white stuff.

So what do we do in Richmond when it snows?

We go to the grocery store and then drive into a ditch.  ;D   ;D   ;D

Excuse my ignorance, I live in the South, but is that because you crap more when it snows?

A time honored tradition ::) Years ago people did it quite a bit. It still happens whenever they predict any significant amount of snow. There's a run on staple items - bread, milk, tp, etc. Because out here in the vast wilderness of New Jersey, you could be snowed in for a whole day. You may starve to death or something.

Screw the snow. I'm moving south. How's tennessee in the winter? Kentucky? Maybe i'll go to arkansas.

Youll have to go farther than that, Atlanta got it and so did we. My buddy says Clearwater and St. Petersburg FL are in the 60's right now, so I'm headed down there, who's with me lol

60's? ;D ;D ;D Better re-check that thermometer. It's 46 right now in Palm Beach.

45.4 and dropping right now :(

I could live with the cold.  It's the gusts up to 41 that are killer.

Yeah, but crap like this is rare. By me, it's a lot more common to have 12+ inches of snow.
