GTrombly Posted December 24, 2010 Posted December 24, 2010 That is crazy to me to fish on an inch of ice. I go with my father, but we don't fish till there is a foot of ice. He checks every week with his auger. Quote

Tom H. Posted December 24, 2010 Author Posted December 24, 2010 There is more than an inch of ice on the lakes. A buddy and I ice fished Banner yesterday and we had 6 - 8 inches. I was just trying to let guys know to be weary when out there and look for bad spots on the lakes they fish. I wouldn't want this to happen to someone else. Quote
IDbasser Posted December 24, 2010 Posted December 24, 2010 I have been out about 5 times so far this year. We just aren't getting the ice build up like we normally do. I have been fishing on 5-8 inches of ice at the lake. I am waiting for the other areas to ice up. This lake is the only one frozen right now within several hours drive. Quote
