rondef Posted December 23, 2010 Posted December 23, 2010 Please take a minute to watch the Wounded Warrior Project video and when you get together with your families during the holidays please keep these brave men and women in your thoughts and prayers. Remember, this Christmas, while you are eating your dinners and laughing, that in another house there is an empty chair where a hero should be sitting. They gave their life so that you can sit with your family. So light a candle this Christmas for our fallen heroes that did not make it back ...and for those still serving in Iraq, Afghanistan, or elsewhere. Quote
Super User Lund Explorer Posted December 23, 2010 Super User Posted December 23, 2010 Amen to that Rondef. As almost any veteran can tell you, being away from home is hard enough, but Christmas seems to be the worst. Whether you are in a war zone, or in some lonely post/base throughout the world or this country, these folks have put their normal family life on hold. Here's to hoping that these young folks will know that many of us that are enjoying the comforts of home and family this year, still recognize what they are giving up for all of us. Quote
