Btech Posted November 22, 2010 Posted November 22, 2010 Don't laugh! I'm still stuck in the dark ages playing PS2 when I can't hit the lake. I've had this Rapala Pro Fishing my girlfriend bought me a few years now and being unemployed I have found time to play. Well to the point I'm having trouble with it lol. I don't quote understand once I cast why it shows me a fish swimming towards me than goes back to my lure. I'm assuming that its or was interested in the lure but 90 percent never bite. I have caught 2 smallies in the free fishing mode but still need casting practice and hooking practice once they do bite. I'm kinda cheeting by casting and letting it sit until they bite. If any of you had or have this game id appriciate any tips ya can throw out there. It sucks royally when all the real lakes are frozen and the closest place to catch bass is 200 miles away. Quote
Super User fourbizz Posted November 22, 2010 Super User Posted November 22, 2010 All I can tell you is that is the worst game ever. Only use rapala lures? W T PH? Quote
Btech Posted November 22, 2010 Author Posted November 22, 2010 I agree its not the best but its a little more realistic than Monster Bass and as far as I know those are the only fishing games for ps2 Quote
Super User .dsaavedra. Posted November 22, 2010 Super User Posted November 22, 2010 reel fishing 3 is a pretty fun game for ps2. Quote
Btech Posted December 18, 2010 Author Posted December 18, 2010 Ok figured some of it out and am now stuck on the Sacramento river trying to catch Striped bass, I can catch 2 - 3 in an hour but never get better than 14th - Any sugestions. Quote
Super User KU_Bassmaster. Posted December 18, 2010 Super User Posted December 18, 2010 A little off topic but has anybody played Rapala's new Pro Bass Fishing? It looked a little more promising and looked like there might be more than just Rapala lures. Also get to fish real lakes. Don't know how accurate it is, but "real lakes". Quote

SWMIBASSER Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 we are getting the boys a Wii for christmas, and when they are't playing I'll be playing the new KVD bass fishing game. ;D Quote
Djhollis17 Posted February 16, 2020 Posted February 16, 2020 I have the game as well. Not one of the best but more of one of the realistic ones as some of you has stated. I had trouble casting as well but remember that the buttons lag since it is a ps2. And as far as catching fish, it is hard but with a little practice with it and dancing it around and making the music play, the more the fiah are attracted to it. Hope it helps! Quote

Not sure if you noticed, this topic is 9 years old. Hopefully he figured it out and most importantly found a job. 1 1 Quote
