Broke down and bought one

Well after going through 3 xbox 360's i finally broke down and bought another one today.  Got the 250gb holiday bundle with alan wake forza3 and 1600 micro points and a copy of Black Ops (yes i like the game)  but i also play alot of cod4 and gow2 so hit me up with some gamertags and we will get our game on.  Should be here Fri.  gamertag is

The ones you went through were any of them the "Jasper" model?

Last DEC I got my kids a 360 and made sure to get the Jasper with the better chip/power supply thing? Not a hiccup once. For sure the model you just got has it.

Amazon had some good bundle deals as well, and they offer free shipping on most of them.

Update on my purchase from gamestop.  Now before i start this story i understand their side of it but it still seems stupid to me.  Now remember i have bought consoles and games with this exact debit card before.  So now to the story.  I bought a 360 bundle and black ops.  Well black ops was listed as shipped yet the bundle hasn't.  After 10 mins on hold i talked to a rep and he said my shipping and billing addys didn't match.  I said ok well what do you have and here is what he had

Do you see any difference.  Yep the . at the end of Cir because of this they could not ship the console.  So needless to say i went to the local wallyworld and bought one yesterday.  So keep that in mind if u order from Gamestop.  Rant is done.

I was told by a tech support dude I know, that if you leave your xbox in a tight space where there lack of airflow will melt the inside of xbox causing it to red ring. That was his theory on my xbox..Some other people I know who had their xbox for 3 years and going on with no problem has more air flow to the xbox. Mine xbox lasted about two years. With first year being in open space, then final few months I had it on a new shelf in tighter space. :-[

after playing Black ops alot I agree I like it better also.  Very rarely do i get nuke tubed or camped on.
