I just turned in some training points and got one of these for free from work (apparently they go for just under $100).

Its the "wings of life" backpack.

Anyone know that the heck the wings of life do?  So far my best guess is to jump off a mountain and use it as a glider.  ;)

Perhaps you can scoop my fish into the boat with them?

They don't really look like they are equipped for that.  If the gliding thing works I could swoop diwn and grab fish out of the water with my toenails, I mean talons.

i know you guys are having fun but if you were serious then judging from this picture i'd say they are meant to hold your LifeEssentials which may or may not come with the backpack.
