GTrombly Posted December 6, 2010 Posted December 6, 2010 Peyton Manning now has thrown four touchdown passes the past two weeks -- to the opponent. Four pick sixes. Wow. doesn't include his other pics. Quote
OHIO Posted December 6, 2010 Posted December 6, 2010 HAHA it was just a matter of time before this thread was going up. I like Peyton, but he is making some bad decisions as of late. Everyone is blaming it on injuries and what not, but I don't buy it. He has a good replacement TE in Tamme and some good receivers with Garcon and Wayne. The running game is the only thing really hurting, so I guess that could contribute to his increased interceptions, but not to this extent. He is on my fantasy team. :'( Quote

I don't care how good they are. Quote

Captain Obvious Posted December 6, 2010 Posted December 6, 2010 I think he is talking about Kitna or Clary Quote
OHIO Posted December 6, 2010 Posted December 6, 2010 Oh my mistake. It makes sense now. I thought it was him that highlighted the portion of my post, but it obviously wasn't. Quote
Super User J Francho Posted December 6, 2010 Super User Posted December 6, 2010 Peyton isn't slumping, he's pressing, and with the lack of the usual O-line and receiving corps, he's failing. Yes, by pressing, he's creating the INTs and pic 6's, but what is causing him to stray from his usual game? Quote
Uncle Leo Posted December 6, 2010 Posted December 6, 2010 His head, judging by the facial expressions he has lost a bit of his edge. It will come back a better part of his game is mental and his head is a bit out of the game. They will make the playoff even as a wildcard. He should have his edge back by then. Quote

I wouldn't be so sure about that. the way I see it, either the Jets or Pats get one wild card, and the Steelers or Ravens get the other. The Colts have a lot of ground to make up on those 4 teams. Their best shot right now is to catch the Jags. Quote
Super User Grey Wolf Posted December 6, 2010 Super User Posted December 6, 2010 No running game will cause a quarterback big problems . He knows that if he doesn't get it done , it's over for them. Quote
Super User J Francho Posted December 6, 2010 Super User Posted December 6, 2010 Addai is supposed to return next week. Quote
OHIO Posted December 6, 2010 Posted December 6, 2010 Addai is supposed to return next week. Hopefully Collie will too and then they will have a chance to start winning again. I think they play Tennessee and they are playing horrible right now so it should be an easy game for the Colts. Quote
SuskyDude Posted December 6, 2010 Posted December 6, 2010 Peyton and Eli must have made a bet this season. Quote
Super User 5bass Posted December 6, 2010 Super User Posted December 6, 2010 Yes, by pressing, he's creating the INTs and pic 6's, but what is causing him to stray from his usual game? My guess would be that it's just the pressure of being Peyton Manning, super elite QB robot guy. Everyone expects him to be able to just fling the ball around the field, make plays and win games. Thats got to be a lot of pressure on him knowing that people expect him to carry the team all by himself with the teams many injuries and lackluster O line play. He's definitely forcing throws and that is out of character for him. I think the defense needs to tighten up and keep the opposing offense off the field a little more often. That would help Peyton out a ton. Quote
