We had a beer thread, so why not a liquor and mixed drink thread?

I wanted pick up a bottle of Glenfiddich scotch tonight, but I didn't have 44.99 on me. Anybody else had it and want to vouch that it worth it? Drink smoothly?

IMO Glenleviet is better than Glenfiddich but my drink of choice is Canadian Club 12 year old Classic on the rocks.

My personal favorites.

Seagram gin & orange juice

Crown Royal on rocks and/or with Dr.Pepper or Coke

Southern Comfort & Ice Tea

5 o'clock vodka  & orange drink or any dark drink soda.

Bacardi 151 rum & Dr.Pepper

Tennessee Whiskey on rocks

I'm a liquor man....Through and through I'll drink just about anything. However I haven't had liquor in almost 2-3 years now. It's amazing considering there's a liquor store at ever corner of the street here.

when im with my peeps , we always sip on some MD 20/20 fruit punch. the ladies love it too. ;) ;D

i used to be all about vodka and cranberry or OJ....untill i turned 21. LOL. something about that b-day turned me off. dunno if it was the 8 double screwdrivers , the few shots of patron or the glow in the dark bowling , but never again.

while i do prefer a beer over a hard drink , i love me some tequila. margaritas or chilled straight. one of my 'anytime' drinks has got to be a tequila sunrise. i could drink it from 9am to 9pm or later. simply yum.

bicardi o and sunkist or bicardi limon and sprite/7-up is also pretty good. i need to venture out of my comfort zone and find some other good drinks.

To mix any fine liquor should be a capital crime, death by hanging.

Very happy with a nice after dinner cognac.

Eagle Rare 17 year old on the rocks.

I haven't had the 17 year but I like the regular Eagle Rare a lot. It's probably my favorite bourbon.

I rarely drink liquor but when I do it's bourbon or some other whiskey.

Right now I'm waiting to open a bottle of this:

STRANAHANS%20COLORADO%20WHISKEY.jpg

It's made by a small micro-distillery that uses Flying Dog Beer's equipment at their brewery in Colorado.

Johnny Walker Black on the rocks. Coke on the side.

But I also like-

Bacardi Gold and Coke

Bombay and Tonic

A "John Daly" (Vodka of your choice mixed with Arnold Palmer)

A simple Patron Anejo margarita on the rocks, no salt please.

The 10 year old is a fine burbon and while I do prefer the 17 year its price prevents me from drinking it too often.  When you open that bottle of Stranahan's let me know how you like it.
