Super User roadwarrior Posted November 28, 2010 Super User Posted November 28, 2010 Man, I have been a fan for a few years. My favorite is still "The Game Of The Century", Nebraska vs Oklahoma. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1971_Nebraska_vs._Oklahoma_football_game But...This weekend's games were special. The two I saw were Alabama v Auburn and the game just completed, Arkansas v LSU. WOW! Quote
SDoolittle Posted November 28, 2010 Posted November 28, 2010 I've been waiting for the Bedlam game all week. Only 18 more minutes! Quote
Super User SoFlaBassAddict Posted November 28, 2010 Super User Posted November 28, 2010 Been a good weekend to watch the games. The Auburn/Bama game was great. The LSU game was fun to watch also. Heres to hoping the games tonight and next weekend are just as good. Quote
Super User Grey Wolf Posted November 28, 2010 Super User Posted November 28, 2010 Ohio St. bull-dozed Michigan. It's no longer much of a rivalry. I hope Michigan doesn't fire Rich Rod. Quote
Super User 00 mod Posted November 28, 2010 Super User Posted November 28, 2010 WOOOOOO PIG SOOOOOIEEEEE!!!!! Quote
lazeebum Posted November 28, 2010 Posted November 28, 2010 While Bama was busy gittin' their ***** kicked, I was working on my back porch so that maybe I could fish Sunday. But since scam and the boysz beat Bama I hope they go all the way. Quote
Super User 5bass Posted November 28, 2010 Super User Posted November 28, 2010 VT steam-rolled UVa to sweep their ACC schedule and take the Commonwealth Cup. Again. Quote
SDoolittle Posted November 28, 2010 Posted November 28, 2010 VT steam-rolled UVa to sweep their ACC schedule and take the Commonwealth Cup. Again. Not bad for a team that lost to JMU. Quote
Super User Dan: Posted November 28, 2010 Super User Posted November 28, 2010 ^ ;D ;D ;D ;D Too bad VT and UVA don' let JMU play for the Cup! Heck, William and Mary and Richmond could probably compete some years as well! Quote
SDoolittle Posted November 28, 2010 Posted November 28, 2010 I've been waiting for the Bedlam game all week. Well worth the wait! Man, I have been a fan for a few years. My favorite is still "The Game Of The Century", Nebraska vs Oklahoma. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1971_Nebraska_vs._Oklahoma_football_game Looks like we might get to see it again. Quote
Super User Sam Posted November 28, 2010 Super User Posted November 28, 2010 Yes, it was a great weekend. My poor Fighting Tigers looked like fools and I think the equipment managers are still looking on the field for the LSU players jocks as they were faked out of them a lot on Saturday. ;D ;D ;D Hey, the Cotton Bowl is not a bad place to go and our record is better than Bamasux. Super User Catt Posted November 28, 2010 Super User Posted November 28, 2010 2 weeks into the season I expected LSU to go 8-4 or 9-3 so 10-2 is great, it took Miles & staff midway through to figure Jefferson is not a pocket passer. Quote
Super User Lund Explorer Posted November 28, 2010 Super User Posted November 28, 2010 Ohio St. bull-dozed Michigan. It's no longer much of a rivalry. I hope Michigan doesn't fire Rich Rod. A POX UPON YOU SIR! The idiot from WV has taken a storied team and turned it into the mirror image of Minnesota! I'm off to find a gypsy to see what it would cost for a curse to stretch that sweater vest on your sidelines to where it could fit a new OSU coach like Charlie Weis!!! ;D Quote

Do you think they've got enough intelligence to hire Harbaugh ? Quote
Super User SoFlaBassAddict Posted November 28, 2010 Super User Posted November 28, 2010 I'm happy now. Miami fired Randy Shannon. He's a nice guy and all, but he wasn't ready to be a head coach. Quote

shootermcbob Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 I think he is making progress. If Michigan doesn't turn the ball over, that becomes a different ballgame. I am an Ohio State fan, but I think they have got some momentum on Offense. They need to fire Robinson and get a defensive coordinator. Factor in all the injuries they have had and it is easy to see the progress being made. Offensively, they can play with anyone in the country, save Oregon. Defensively, they are still too small and too slow. Unless they get Harbaugh, they will be down for another few years while recruiting catches up to the coach's style. Even with Harbaugh, they will most likely be worse before they are better because he plays power football, and Michigan is a "finesse" team based on quickness. I think they will go backwards again. On second thought, FIRE Rodriguez!!!!! ;D ;D ;D Quote

John Gruden coaching the Canes?? Yeah, he might be on Miami's wish list but why would Gruden even consider going there to coach? Quote
