Branuss04 Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 Thanks for the laugh. I am guessing you have lived out west your whole life. It seems like here in WI we will get a few days to a few weeks of negative temps for highs during the winter. The coldest that I remember was -35 or -40 a few years ago. I can tell you this The clutch and five speed felt like a rock. I even let my car warm up for about half a hour. Yep, been out west all my life. Very few places in Cali get below zero. Very rarely does where I live drop below freezing, yet it's happened 3 times last week. Guess we are in for a long winter Quote

bocabasser Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 I grew up in an alipine valley in Colorado, very often the coldest place in the contiguous US, then I went to school in Wyoming. The winter I was there it was below 0 with winds of at least 30mph for 31 days straight! I know real cold. I'm just saying that this isnt what I signed up for when I moved here ;D just checked the weather it will be -7 back home tonight. look at it on the bright side--it is 31 degrees wamer where you are right now. Super User J Francho Posted November 29, 2010 Super User Posted November 29, 2010 If you're lucky, you'll get to hear idiots uttering something stupid like, "I guess this is what they meant by global warming...der dee der...." about a thousand times a day, for three months. Quote
