I usually fish with both a baitcasting and spinning reel in Lake Erie for bass. I don't own a boat so I'm usually fishing close to shore and where i fish there are many boat houses and channels where boats dock and on a point where many weeds are but good bass. I fish aroudn the boat houses and casting inside them where structure and shade is. I usually use worms and floating crank bait such as a J-9 or F-9. Is there any other lure you would recommend to fish in these areas. Also I know there are pike where I fish and maybe even musky, any advice on how to catch them?

With those different types of cover and such, I'd try different plastics, jig and trailer and maybe some cranks. WELCOME to the forums!!!

A Mojo Rig or a Splitshot Rig works great in the grass but if one of those toothy fish get the worm you will have to tie on another hook.

i dont know that much about them but i heard skipping tubes under docks is good approach, where i fish we dont have docks. seen roland do it on tv so it must work  :(

I would try to throw a deep diving crankbait, spinnerbait, and try some topwater around the structure. Depending on water clarity try a jerkbait. :(

Both largemouth and smallmouth bass will take virtually any type of lure. I have no muskie experience, but pike will readily take anything in your tackle box. So I'd feel confident using any lure that you feel might be appropriate for the conditions.
