Super User Grey Wolf Posted November 22, 2010 Super User Posted November 22, 2010 Did they fire that old quarterback also , if not they still have not solved the problem. Quote
OHIO Posted November 22, 2010 Posted November 22, 2010 I wonder if this will be like Dallas. They start playing well when the coach is gone. I sure hope so... Quote
Super User 5bass Posted November 22, 2010 Super User Posted November 22, 2010 Vikings owner has been looking for a reason ever since Childress cut Moss. Losing a division game at home by 28 points will do it. The players gave up on 'ol Chilly....well, it looked like they did in my opinion. They'll be better off without him. Quote
llPa1nll Posted November 22, 2010 Posted November 22, 2010 Good thing they kept that hall of fame QB, and his epic fails. ;D : ;D Quote

Super User bilgerat Posted November 22, 2010 Super User Posted November 22, 2010 It wasn't a matter of if but when. Good riddance. The cancer is for the most part gone from the team. It's a shame because there is a ton of talent on that team. Hopefully for us Vikes fans next season will be a new beginning. This season is toast. Quote

Super User Tin Posted November 23, 2010 Super User Posted November 23, 2010 Why all the hating on Jackson? He has a 120 QB rating this year. lol Seriously..., some great QB's in the 2011 draft, (Luck, Mallet, Johnson, Ponder). Quote
Super User Gone_Phishin Posted November 23, 2010 Super User Posted November 23, 2010 That makes it a total of two head coaches fired the day after a whuppin' from GB. Quote
piscicidal Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 Big Viking fan here (I grew up in St Cloud, MN) Childress had to go. He completely lost the team. Yesterday was pathetic...Childress going at it with Favre. Favre going at it with Bevell. Ray Edwards going at it with Asher Allen/Chris Cook. "Anonymous sources" going to the press and saying the players don't respect Childress... I'm glad he's gone. He really was a dummy...He's the walking embodiment of the "Peter Principle". Quote
Super User Sam Posted November 23, 2010 Super User Posted November 23, 2010 Saban to the Vikings or Cowboys???? Quote
Super User Tin Posted November 23, 2010 Super User Posted November 23, 2010 Saban to the Vikings or Cowboys???? It crossed my mind....him or Gruden. Quote
Super User 5bass Posted November 24, 2010 Super User Posted November 24, 2010 Saban to the Vikings or Cowboys???? It crossed my mind....him or Gruden. I think Gruden is too smart to mess with Dallas. The only way he'd even consider that gig is if Jerry handed over total control of personnel decisions, stay out of the everyday happenings of the team and out of the media's sight. I just dont see that happening. Jerry's an attention *****. Vikings maybe, but their going to have QB issues once Favre leaves. Tavaris just isnt 'there' yet. Quote
