Super User South FLA Posted November 20, 2010 Super User Posted November 20, 2010 Bird Dog, Have you ever hunted/owned with a Vizsla? In about a year or 2, when the kid gets older, I am thinking of getting one or a GSP, being in Florida all I really do is duck and dove hunt with the occasional quail thrown in. Considering Vizsla since they are a bit smaller in frame then the GSP. Quote

Just yesterday, I had a conversation with a coworker who is a big fan of vislas and wiems. They are pretty dogs, but I have no experience with them. Quote
bass or bass ? Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 Boxers are extremely loving and loyal. Very smart too. My boxer,Molly, is very sweet tempered. I've had a lab and shepherd too The shepherd was far and away the most intelligent dog I've ever owned. Quote

IDbasser Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 GSP are great, they cover the ground like nothing I ever seen. Great hunters and pets. They are like the energizer bunny, they keep going and going and going. They don't slow down for much, will go through a fence without slowing a bit. Mine cut her leg really bad. Quote

Have you ever seen an EP hunt? no, not an english pointer, but have hunted with many different hunting breeds. English setters are pretty awesome, except that long hair that gets everything in it. I think it's just about impossible to wear an EP out. That's why they win the majority of the horseback trials. Quote
