Nine Miler Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 I am posting this on my new HTC Evo. Been messing around on this thing for a while now (picked it up after work today) and I must confess, there isn't much that I have figured out yet. Yes, I know- my area doesn't even have 4G yet. Quote
NateFollmer Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 Man, you're going to LOVE that phone (especially the Android OS). There is an app for just about anything. I won't say I couldn't live without my phone, but it would be hard to get through the day without it Quote
nick76 Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 Nate is right, You are going to love that phone and the Android OS. There are apps for everything under the sun and a phone that is fun to use. I got mine about 4-6 weeks ago and have not been able to put it down long enough to give it a break. Even my kids love it......they found a tic tac toe app and they play it all the time. Keeps em entertained. Quote
NateFollmer Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 Angry Birds is the greatest Android game ever. I love shooting birds at things haha Quote
nick76 Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 The best part was the new update that added even more levels.......super addicting Quote
NateFollmer Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 The best part was the new update that added even more levels.......super addicting I'm working on all the golden eggs and 3 stars on each level at the moment. Some of them are HARD to get 3 on. Quote
Stringjam Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 Congrats....the Evo is a righteous handset - I've been digging mine for several months. Do a search on the Android thread here to look up some recommendations for app downloads....there's a lot of really good stuff. Quote
Nine Miler Posted November 17, 2010 Author Posted November 17, 2010 I have been hanging around some of the android/evo forums a little bit. Seems like there are unlimited possibilities, but it is a bit intimidating. I am coming from a palm (an old one) but I never really dug into that one. I mostly just used it to call/text/browse. Quote
