I am posting this on my new HTC Evo. Been messing around on this thing for a while now (picked it up after work today) and I must confess, there isn't much that I have figured out yet. Yes, I know- my area doesn't even have 4G yet.

Man, you're going to LOVE that phone (especially the Android OS). There is an app for just about anything. I won't say I couldn't live without my phone, but it would be hard to get through the day without it :)

Nate is right, You are going to love that phone and the Android OS.  There are apps for everything under the sun and a phone that is fun to use.  I got mine about 4-6 weeks ago and have not been able to put it down long enough to give it a break.  Even my kids love it......they found a tic tac toe app and they play it all the time.  Keeps em entertained.

I'm working on all the golden eggs and 3 stars on each level at the moment. Some of them are HARD to get 3 on.

Congrats....the Evo is a righteous handset - I've been digging mine for several months.

Do a search on the Android thread here to look up some recommendations for app downloads....there's a lot of really good stuff.

I have been hanging around some of the android/evo forums a little bit.  Seems like there are unlimited possibilities, but it is a bit intimidating. I am coming from a palm (an old one) but I never really dug into that one.  I mostly just used it to call/text/browse.
