The pictures I saw showed the thing going at better than 45 degrees up. Also looked like an lit exhaust coming off it. Early reports stated no airline had a jet in that area. But then our government wouldn't lie right?  ;)

Why would they lie about it? They do tests all the time, why would they try to keep this one a secret?

The Jersey shore is dispersing ChemTrails into the sky, thus causing us all to go "Jersey", where we will then start naming our selves stupid names, like C Wow, Skooni, etc.

Soon, we will all be part of Jersey... :o :-/

It was probably US Airways flight 808.

What's sad about the whole situation is that actual news reporters were the ones hyping this as something that it wasn't.  It's just another instance of how the news in the US is no longer about the facts and is all about the entertainment value.
