Dam Yankee Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 I will start off with an 8 footer on Toledo Bend Mill Creek area. Quote
Super User Sam Posted October 20, 2010 Super User Posted October 20, 2010 Beautiful photos. Please consider entering them in your state fair next year. We see eagles, ospreys, hawks, deer, geese, ducks, cormorants, beavers, snakes, otters and a fish or two while out on the water and shame on us, we never take photos. The trees along the lake shorelines this time of the year are simply beautiful with their bright reds, yellows and oranges. I guess we have our minds on fishing and not wildlife. Thanks for the post and reminding us how beautiful nature can be. Quote
endless Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 Beautiful Gator!! My sister lives in Lafayette, La. I had a good time when I was there, I love the Cajun food. Her Ex husband father could cook, delicious! God now I want a Po boy sandwich. Only place I no here in Va is Popeye's, Maybe Bojangle's not sure. I might just have to check into Crazy Cajun's. It's post to be a authentic Cajun food place. Never check their menu but they got got the best price for crabs that I know of. Quote
bweave09 Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 endless' picture of the raccoon reminds me of a raccoon I saw in a bluff wall at Pickwick. It was just a few feet from my face, watched us fish, and then scurried away shortly after we passed. I wish I had a picture of it, but I didn't have time during a tournament. Quote
Stringjam Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 Spotted this 5'8" a few years ago in Stockton Lake, MO. Took her home with me. She stays content as long as I feed her plenty of pizza. Quote

Super User BASSclary Posted October 21, 2010 Super User Posted October 21, 2010 At the lake today. Different variations of the photo, but they all have the guide which caught water in it and sealed it Quote

I wouldn't do it during a tournament but I mostly just fish to fish. a bunch of times I wished I would have had a camera and lately have ensured I have one at the ready. I have days so bad that a gator close up was my only keeper!! Quote

Super User KU_Bassmaster. Posted October 23, 2010 Super User Posted October 23, 2010 I saw my first one in the wild ever a couple weeks ago. What a sight!!! Quote
endless Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 I see Bald Eagles quite often but none close enough to get pictures of. Nice pic Deb. Nice one too Quake. I have a pic of a Swan I think some where. I think it might of been a pet though cause it wasn't scared of me and when I took out something to eat on my boat the swan seem to want to swim towards me but didn't. Quote
Super User Redlinerobert Posted October 25, 2010 Super User Posted October 25, 2010 I took this picture on my Brazil trip back in 2007 I believe. We were fishing the Rio *****, and I happened to set down my rod. I did that to put my camera away, and this little guy flutters over and lands on the Carrot Stick. I think he thought it was his cousin. ;D It's been the only orange butterfly I've seen in my travels to Brazil, and just so happened to land on this rod. I sent the picture to E21, not sure if they ever used it. Amazon sunrise. Amazon tree snake. Quote
