Super User Sam Posted November 5, 2010 Super User Posted November 5, 2010 I predicted a 28-14 score in favor of the Honkies. Was impressed by GT's ground game and finally saw a team with a worse passing attack then the LSU Fighting Tigers. The Honkies could run the table and make it to the Orange Bowl. But it is way too early to make those predictions. Quote
Super User Sam Posted November 5, 2010 Super User Posted November 5, 2010 P.S. Carrigton - Are you taking English classes as your post was clear, to the point, without grammar and spelling errors. Not bad for an engineering guy!!!! Quote
Super User Fishing Rhino Posted November 5, 2010 Super User Posted November 5, 2010 P.S. Carrigton - Are you taking English classes as your post was clear, to the point, without grammar and spelling errors. Not bad for an engineering guy!!!! :D Grammatically speaking, the use of multiple exclamation marks at the end of a sentence, though done for emphasis is a grammatical error. I do it too, but, according to the rules of grammar as I learned them, it is incorrect. On the other hand, it appears that when it comes to college football, "PASSIONS RULE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Carrington Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 Exactly, that game was insane though. I could not get a ticket but my dorm room overlooks the stadium. It sounded like people were yelling through my window when "enter sandman" started up in the 4th quarter. Quote
Super User 5bass Posted November 5, 2010 Author Super User Posted November 5, 2010 Exactly, that game was insane though. I could not get a ticket but my dorm room overlooks the stadium. It sounded like people were yelling through my window when "enter sandman" started up in the 4th quarter. That was playing when they came onto the field before kickoff (just like usual) and the whole place was rockin'! 3 minutes later, GT went straight down the field for a TD. Then it sounded like everybody had left. ;D I think it would've been a different story if Nesbitt had not broken his arm. The backup did ok but he's no Nesbitt. Quote
Carrington Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 Im glad he is ok but i was so happy when i saw him leave the game. Just helped us win even more. Quote
Prmetme Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 Yea, the only thing I didn't like about living on campus was when I watched games in my dormroom, since the broadcasts were like 8 seconds behind I would hear the fireworks go off before they showed the score on tv. The good news was that I could bet my friends I could see into the future on touchdown plays. : Quote
