Brian_Reeves Posted July 18, 2008 Posted July 18, 2008 If my pot wasn't a piece of junk, I'd offer to pour a jighead and put some fur on it for you. I've never tried it, but I'm sure it's very do-able. Check around with some of the tacklemaking guys. Maybe one of them can do it. Quote
Zel Posted July 18, 2008 Posted July 18, 2008 WELCOME! The ones here are really good, and they use a real quality hook. They are located pretty close to me, so I just get them there, therefore I can't comment on any internet sales experience with them. Lou is a pretty good guy also. My personal favorites are the black with blue flash and the dark brown with copper flash, but I usually only use them for smallmouth. http://www.wackyworm.com/wwfamousjigs.html Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted July 18, 2008 Super User Posted July 18, 2008 earthworm77 (Craig DeFronzo) makes them for custom orders: www.micromunchtackle.com 8-) Quote
BASS fisherman Posted July 19, 2008 Posted July 19, 2008 http://www.punisherlures.com/component/page,shop.browse/category_id,38/option,com_virtuemart/itemid,78/ They're good jigs and they don't cost an arm and a leg. RW: For some reason, Craig's link is linking to an electric scooter website. Quote
mallardecho Posted July 19, 2008 Posted July 19, 2008 Try these, not as good as some of the homemade ones but suitable for mass produced. I like the asprin head and the punisher II http://www.punisherlures.com/component/page,shop.browse/category_id,38/option,com_virtuemart/itemid,78/ Quote
bigfruits Posted July 19, 2008 Author Posted July 19, 2008 someone from the river smallies suggested this guy's jigs: http://www.tourneyjigs.com/ thought id add it to the list. Quote
fretfishman Posted July 19, 2008 Posted July 19, 2008 I've got a couple bucktail jigs left with weedguards on them, but I can't remember where I got 'em and I'd prefer rabbit hair anyway. if anyone has any suggestions - I will check out the links so far, though. also, I'd prefer a single or double strand wire guard as opposed to a plastic multi-strand. thanks in advance.
