llPa1nll Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 Its too bad that the 2 drama queens have been split up. Imagine all that from a cut needing 10 stitches. Quote
Super User Marty Posted November 1, 2010 Super User Posted November 1, 2010 Just heard on the radio that Moss has been waived by the Vikings. I wonder if it's something he said ? He praised Belichick and the Pats, among other things. "Donning a Red Sox cap, Moss went out of his way to compliment his old teammates (I love you guys. I miss you.) as well as his old coach. At the same time, Moss was critical of his current head coach, Brad Childress, saying that it would have been nice to have gotten three points at the end of the first half ("I wish we could have had that three at the end of the half") on a drive which ended with Adrian Peterson being denied on a 4th and goal run at the goal line. He also showed frustration that the team didn't listen to him about the tendencies of the Patriots' offense. Moss said, at one point during the game, coaches came over to him and said, "Dang, Moss, you were right about a couple plays and schemes that they were going to run."" Quote
MMan16 Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 The real question now is were does he go???????? Quote
Super User K_Mac Posted November 2, 2010 Super User Posted November 2, 2010 The real question now is were does he go???????? I just read an article saying St. Louis was a possibility. I hope not. I would rather have Favre starting with a broken foot and stitches in his head (or throwing hand) than Moss on the team, and for the record I think Favre should have stayed retired the first time. Super User Grey Wolf Posted November 2, 2010 Author Super User Posted November 2, 2010 The real question now is were does he go???????? Cowboys , Bengals , Bills are a few options because of their dysfunctional ownership. Quote
Super User J Francho Posted November 2, 2010 Super User Posted November 2, 2010 Buffalo, Washington, or KC. Any of those teams make the most sense. Quote
Super User BASSclary Posted November 2, 2010 Super User Posted November 2, 2010 He goes back to New England. Quote
Super User J Francho Posted November 2, 2010 Super User Posted November 2, 2010 Waiver picks go in reverse order by record. He'll get snagged before NE even has a chance. Quote
Super User BASSclary Posted November 2, 2010 Super User Posted November 2, 2010 Waiver picks go in reverse order by record. He'll get snagged before NE even has a chance. Yeah I know, i've been watching ESPN and eating Boo Berry all morning 8-) so I know the reverso ordero deal. But I think he'll get passed up and the Pats will pick him back up. Because If they do get him, he only has to do the plays 'he' wants to do. And all the pats can do by picking him up is gain. They got a 3rd round pick by trading him, picked up Branch while he was gone, and a chance for those plays that Moss "wants" to play. Although it's highly unlikely : Quote
Super User deaknh03 Posted November 2, 2010 Super User Posted November 2, 2010 if nobody picks him up off of waivers then he goes to the highest bidder. But if he gets picked off waivers, that team is on the hook for the rest of his salary. Waivers go from worst to best, so NE would be the last team with a chance, and at that point they would pass and try to pay him less because he has then cleared waivers. I do think some team will take a chance, Rams, or maybe the Raiders?? hard to believe that oakland would, but you never know woth al davis, and they look to be maybe a piece away from a good team. OHIO Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 I think the Rams have the best chance at picking him up, but I don't think they should. They are playing great football right now and they don't need a drama queen like Moss to mess that up. Honestly, I don't think he should get picked up by any team. He is a flat out quitter. Quote

ROCbass Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 Buffalo, Washington, or KC. Any of those teams make the most sense. I hope it's not Buffalo, and I don't really think it makes sense for them either. They are getting good production out of their young receivers. Since they are rebuilding, the last thing they need to do is bring in an aging vet distraction like Moss and undermine that. He won't make a difference for them this year, and would likely be gone at seasons end. If they pick up Moss, it just proves they learned nothing from the TO experiment last year. Quote
Super User BrianinMD Posted November 2, 2010 Super User Posted November 2, 2010 Washington may try, they are losing their minds enough to bring in Jamarcus Russell for a workout.... Quote
Super User Jigfishn10 Posted November 2, 2010 Super User Posted November 2, 2010 It wouldn't make sense for Buffalo to pick up that contract. As a matter of fact, it doesn't make sense for any team which is out of play-off contention to pick-up that contract. Although, the reports are pointing towards the Cowboys. "Straight cash, Homey". Super User Fishing Rhino Posted November 2, 2010 Super User Posted November 2, 2010 The Cowboys? Didn't they learn their lesson with TO? Maybe they can get him back to team up with Moss. That would be interesting. Quote
Super User J Francho Posted November 2, 2010 Super User Posted November 2, 2010 Uhhh, wouldn't signing Moss demand that Kitna pass the ball? yeah, that's gonna happen, guy can't even execute a hand off. Quote

Super User Tin Posted November 2, 2010 Super User Posted November 2, 2010 I would almost be surprised if he got claimed. Either way, if New England offered him a contract that was over a million I would think he would come crawling back despite being offered 2 to 2.5 by other teams. Quote
GTrombly Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 He's coming back to new england if he doesn't get picked up on waivers. Quote
GTrombly Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 here's an awesome video of moss my wife just showed me. Quote
