bassman31783 Posted October 25, 2010 Posted October 25, 2010 I got the Rangers in 7. It's so nice to see someone other the Yankees & Phillies in the world series. (Sorry to those who are fans of those teams). I'm just so happy to see the Rangers there for the first time. Growing up I always cheered for them but never truly thought that they had a chance to go deep. Now that it's happened, I'm as happy as I can be. Great first game pitching matchup as well. Quote
lsufan334 Posted October 26, 2010 Posted October 26, 2010 Rangers all the way!!! Sweep hopefully Quote

Super User BASSclary Posted October 26, 2010 Super User Posted October 26, 2010 texas, although I know nothing about baseball Quote
Super User NorcalBassin Posted October 26, 2010 Super User Posted October 26, 2010 Giants... what's the matter with all you guys? I agree that it will be refreshing to see a new champion. The best pitching staff against a great hitting team and the most clutch of clutch pitchers should make for an interesting series. Giants in 7 with Cliff Lee's arm about ready to fall off from pitching so many innings in one week. Quote
Super User K_Mac Posted October 26, 2010 Super User Posted October 26, 2010 I am a National League guy, but I like the way Texas does things. They look like a bunch of guys having a good time. I also think Nolan Ryan's involvement with the team is good for baseball. I hope it goes seven games, and really don't care too much who wins. It should be a great Series. If I were a betting guy I would have to go with the Rangers. Quote
Super User Redlinerobert Posted October 26, 2010 Super User Posted October 26, 2010 Fear the beard. GIANTS! Quote

Super User deaknh03 Posted October 26, 2010 Super User Posted October 26, 2010 I would love to see texas win but I believe the giants will prevail in 6 games. Quote
Baker06 Posted October 26, 2010 Posted October 26, 2010 Since the Rays are out it will have to be the Rangers but only because they kept the Yankees out. Quote
Super User NorcalBassin Posted October 27, 2010 Super User Posted October 27, 2010 Rangers in 6....If they win,I'll tattoo their logo on my knee.... ;D Well even if they lose I'll still do it...LOL Pics please... seen logos on forearms and shoulders but never a knee. That should look pretty cool.... had a buddy just tat his calf with the Giants logo in preparation for the Series. You guys are crazy! Quote
Super User K_Mac Posted October 27, 2010 Super User Posted October 27, 2010 Since the Rays are out it will have to be the Rangers but only because they kept the Yankees out. That is sound logic in my view. Any team that beats the Yanks is OK with me. ;D Quote
gobig Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 What has killed me about all the media I have seen (other than what is local), is they act like the Giants are some kinda fluke. Like they shouldn't be where they are. The best part is... they keep serving up the humble pie. 8-) Quote
