Super User Hookemdown. Posted October 24, 2010 Super User Posted October 24, 2010 They steal the uprights after the game. ;D But seriously...congrats Tigers. You played a heck of a game. Quote
Super User Root beer Posted October 24, 2010 Super User Posted October 24, 2010 Being number 1 in either AP or BCS is a curse now. ;D Quote
Super User Hookemdown. Posted October 24, 2010 Author Super User Posted October 24, 2010 That or...OU can't play on the road. Mizzou's O-Line looked great all day. QB had all day to throw. Was it just me or were the fans walking out of the stadium carrying the uprights? That would be one heck of a souvenir. Quote
SDoolittle Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 Was it just me or were the fans walking out of the stadium carrying the uprights? That would be one heck of a souvenir. They were. I'm bummed. I'm gonna go sulk now. Quote
Super User Sam Posted October 24, 2010 Super User Posted October 24, 2010 Hey OU fans, Texass lost, too. Auburn was the best between them and LSU. It's getting to be a lot of fun seeing who will end up undefeated. Quote
SDoolittle Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 Does this remind anyone else of the 2007 season? Quote
Super User Root beer Posted October 24, 2010 Super User Posted October 24, 2010 Does this remind anyone else of the 2007 season? Yup. Only this time a two loss team will not get into the national title game by luck. Quote
Super User Sam Posted October 24, 2010 Super User Posted October 24, 2010 And then go on to destroy Ohio State by 14 (should have been 21 points but the scrubs finished the game) points. Auburn to go all the way. LSU still has two balls. Quote

Super User senile1 Posted October 25, 2010 Super User Posted October 25, 2010 You'll notice we Missouri fans are laying low on this one. We've had our hopes deflated before by Missouri teams that looked hot and then fizzled. So we're always ready for the disappointment. I can say this. This team is different. We have a decent defense, a decent offensive line, and good players. Past Missouri teams had some big offensive stars who put up big stats while our defense was lacking. We don't have that this year. It's like Coach Pinkel has stated. We have a lot of good players but no really great ones. I think they play good team football and that was a solid team win over Oklahoma. But we'll just have to see what happens this week in Lincoln. Nebraska is a good team and was favored to win the Big 12 North. Missouri will have to play a solid game to beat the Huskers at home. sodaksker Posted October 26, 2010 Posted October 26, 2010 Congrats to the Tigers on a great game against OU. There upcoming game against the Husker should be a good one but, I would give the edge to the tigers. The Huskers have not looked good at home this year. If missouri wins, they will more than likely have to play OU again in the Big 12 Championship. Quote
shootermcbob Posted October 26, 2010 Posted October 26, 2010 The game against OU was the first time I have watched Mizzou this year. I think their O line played fantastic. Their D line also had their way with Oklahoma. If their lines hold up like that, they will win lots of ball games. The most impressive Offensive line play I have seen this year. Congrats on a huge win. Quote
