Once again on Sportcenter this morning they interviewed five players and the owner....but no Wade Phillips. That man has zero control over that team.

That's why Jones hired him , he lets Jones call the shots. He's a lackey.

I didn't even realize that Kitna was still in the NFL.  Sportscenter said he hasn't taken a snap since week five of the 08 season.  Lmao.  If Dallas wasn't done before, they sure as hell are now.

All that winning over the years created alot of haters.

Keep on dishing it out, most of ya'lls teams like the Raiders and Seachickens don't belong on Monday night either and that has been that way for along time.

I went alot of years when the Boys were cellar dwellars with no Sunday and Monday night games years back.

Seems to me, 13-3, 9-7, 11-5 means they earned the right to a few games on Sunday or Monday night, anyway, keep on hating.  Please tell me what your team has done to be there instead.

     Go Boys!!!

just to refresh my memory, what has dallas won? granted they have won a lot of regular season games, but who cares? when they win the big game then they will be relevant again.

Dallas has a lot of problems.  They cannot even win a game when the other team tries to hand it to them.

Problem 1:  Apparently all that preseason  press about their great talent went to their heads.

Problem 2:  They play with emotion...........at the wrong time.  It looks like they practice celebrating more than actually running plays.  Then again, when someone actually accomplishes something, it's so unusual it's worth celebrating.

I've never understood how any player, on any team can celebrate a meaningless play, no matter how spectacular when they are getting their head handed to them.

3:  Do they understand the team concept?

4:  Owner and coach, see number three.  Neither seems to understand their role.  Jones relishes the publicity and his monument of a stadium.  Putting a tuxedo on someone with a serious health problem does not solve the problem.  But it gives Jones something to point to that he has accomplished.

Hmm, they top the list in Super Bowl appearences and are tied for second in total Super Bowl wins.  Seems to me that they've won a lot.

oh I remember know, the 1970's.Lets see if Staubauch can still get it done, cause Romo can't.maybe Aikman isnt having headaches anymore and emmit can still walk. As far as recent history, 10 years or so, the cowboys stink and the reason they stink worse than usual this year is because jones probably has threats over everyones head so he can have his team in the super bowl, being played in his stadium. Wade phillips is not a head coach and Romo can't handle pressure, bad combo if your a fan.

The bolded text is the only rational words in the entire post.  The rest is just typical hate against the Cowboys.

I don't hate the cowboys. I hate the steelers. I am only pointing out that the cowboys have not been in a meaningful game and won in 16 years. I think they need a 1.new owner 2 new head coach 3 new quarterback. that would be a good start, all good teams are built on those 3 things. Jones was decent when he kept his nose out of the day to day stuff, but now he's bad news.

I personally do not think Romo is a bad QB. His problem is that he does not accept his own mistakes. The first step to correcting a problem is admitting you have one. This young man needs some guidance to become a true leader, it is not always everyone elses fault. I think Wade is a good coach he just has very little back bone.

Wade is a good coordinator and Romo would be a good quarterback for a team like the bills, with no expectations.

Romo isn't the issue. I mean he is talented enough to take them all the way.

Now he is not a leader that is true but other than  Payton Manning and Drew Breeze there are really not a lot of leader quarterbacks. If you have one great but its not required to win it all, even though if you have one you tend to have a leg up on the competition

Wade Phillips is not a bad coach, but he is not a head coach. Put yourself in his shoes all he has is the title of head coach, all that means is he runs the practice and manges games. Jerry  says what goes on in practice and calls the shots in the games.

Jerry Jones is not a bad owner. I mean lets face it he is willing to buy anything or player for this team. He just needs to realize that he is better off letting someone else be the GM and coach.

Their your go three men who get blamed a none of the think their a villain.

Lets face it the guy with the biggest issue is Jerry and he is the one guy who can't get fired or  dropped.

When I enjoyed following pro sports, the Giants were my favorite football team.  That harkens back to the days of Charlie Connerly and Frank Gifford, prior to the AFL.

Their games were broadcast in the Providence/Boston area, and they were the home team.

I suffered through several losses in league championship games.

I remember Y.A. Tittle standing dazed and bloodied in their loss to the Bears.  Suffered through their losses in championship games to Green Bay with Bart Starr, and Baltimore with Johnny Unitas.

I then suffered through their demise.  Their past successes of making it to the championship games did not provide solace to the fact that the only thing they shared with the winning teams of the past were the uniforms they wore.

What they have done in prior years does not get credited to the account of todays teams.  In sports, it is what have you done for me lately.

It's fine to stick with a team through thick and through thin, but when they stink, they stink.

But hey, remaining loyal, and imagining that but for a break here and there they would be undefeated, is better than a fair weather fan who hops on the bandwagon when they are winning, and deserts the sinking ship when their fortunes turn sour.

Well said Fishing Rhino. I am a cowboy fan and have been for nearly 40 years. They stink.

I will still root for them, and I will still agonize when they lose. But the facts say this: They are WAY over-rated at nearly every "star" position. Only DeMarcus Ware is a top level player on that team. The rest are good, some may become very good (Austin, Dez Bryant) while many of the rest are JAG...just a guy.

The worst thing about this group is they lack heart. Compare their effort and accomplishments to Ravens, Colts, Steelers the past few years and the 'Boys wilt under pressure. Lack of Coaching, Lack of discipline, and lack of heart = 1-5, and it is going to get worse, much worse.

I sure wouldn't mind having Dez Bryant down here in Miami....

Thanks Jeff Ireland.  You did a good job of not picking that guy up.

Hows about a friendly wager on that?

If the cowboys win, I get to change your avatar to whatever I choose or 2 weeks, if the giants win, you get to change mine for two weeks.

Deal?

Aren't you glad they didn't take you up on those bets ? They were looking out for you.

Oh well,, It was looking good until Romo broke his collarbone.

If they would've agreed I would have honored the deal.

What amazes me is the media fascination (especially BSPN) with Dallas. They talk about it like it's some kind of crisis or something. Do people really care that much? I doubt it. I'm also sick of seeing them and Detroit every Thanksgiving. I can barely stay awake from all of the food, I don't need bad football games to put me to sleep... :P

NEWS FLASH: ESPN and all the other sports outlets like talking about the Cowboys because everybody has an opinion about them, good or bad. Same with Brett Favre, same with the Lakers, the Yankees, Lebron, etc...those teams and players get ratings. Ratings draw advertisers. Advertisers spend big money to air on ESPN. It's not going to change either. We'll still hate the Cowboys and ESPN will still talk about them every chance they get. It is what it is.

All that said....How 'bout them Cowboys!! LMAO!

KIT-NA! KIT-NA! KIT-NA! Again...LMAO!!
