BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted October 25, 2010 BassResource.com Administrator Posted October 25, 2010 The Raiders trounced the Broncos 59-14 in Denver and they did it without scoring a single point in the fourth quarter. The Raiders put together their most impressive offensive performance in the franchise's 50-year history. Yep, not one of Darlye Lamonica's old AFL teams ever scored that much in a game. Not one of Oakland's three Super Bowl championship teams ever scored that much either. A-maz-ing! 'Hawks won too. 22-10 in an easy win over the Cardinals. They're now 4-2 and a favorite to make the playoffs. Whodathunk? 8-) Crazy NFL season this year, eh? Oh, and next weekend? Raiders play the Seahawks. Outta be a good 'un! Quote
Super User BASSclary Posted October 25, 2010 Super User Posted October 25, 2010 Yeah, crazy season indeed. Almost as if the win/lose records are gonna flip flop this year. Quote
GTrombly Posted October 25, 2010 Posted October 25, 2010 I'll be picking up the raiders defense when my team has a bye. Quote
soccplayer07 Posted October 25, 2010 Posted October 25, 2010 crazy game and a crazy day around the league. weren't they up 38-7 or something similar at the half??? insane! Quote
Super User Tin Posted October 25, 2010 Super User Posted October 25, 2010 No they must go down in flames, the Pats need a high draft pick in the 1st round. And I must say the Pats are looking like those Superbowl teams with there short passes, bubble screens, and weak running game. ;D Quote
Super User 5bass Posted October 25, 2010 Super User Posted October 25, 2010 The Oakland Raiders are the perfect picture of inconsistency. Last week, they couldnt buy a first down and lost to a previously winless 49er squad who has their own mountain of issues. Now this week they obliterate the Broncos in Denver and it's the most points they've ever scored. Heck, they led 21-0 with almost 10 minutes left in the 1st qtr. It's going to take a while for the Broncos to get that Raider foot out of their...... Seahawks in our sights now. Take cover Glenn. RAIDER NATION - LOVE IT OR LEAVE IT!! Quote
ROCbass Posted October 25, 2010 Posted October 25, 2010 I'll be picking up the raiders defense when my team has a bye. I shot myself in the foot with the Raiders (not their defense) this week in fantasy. I have McFadden and Michael Bush and kept them both on my bench because I wasn't sure which would start. Then they go out and have a historic day on offense where Mcfadden would've got me over 40 points and Bush had more points than either of the other RB's I started as well. Between those two and the Buffalo Airshow (I have Ryan Fitzpatrick and Stevie Johnson but wasn't about to play them against the Ravens D) I left over 100 points on my bench this week. > Quote

rat-l-trapper Posted October 25, 2010 Posted October 25, 2010 That was simply an incredible game. I've always said the potential was there for the raiders to be great, and I'm a raiders fan, but I was simply shocked. It was great. I was jumping up and down and screaming the whole time. this is really a huge win for the raiders. I'm really surprised campbell managed to play so well. Just last week he was terrible. It was nice to see mcfadden play though, he seems faster than ever. I really hope this marks a turning point for the raiders. We'll see what happens on sunday when they play the seahawks. GO RAIDERS!! Quote
