Super User Tin Posted October 24, 2010 Super User Posted October 24, 2010 That was one of the worst beat downs I have seen in a while, lol. I don't know if anyone caught ESPN measuring Velasqez's punching power, it was 2250 lbs which is one of the highest ever recorded. I think Drago in Rocky IV only did 2100, lol. Quote
Super User KU_Bassmaster. Posted October 24, 2010 Super User Posted October 24, 2010 d**n. I wish I would have bought it now Quote
Super User skunked_again Posted October 24, 2010 Super User Posted October 24, 2010 Brock was busted UP! and theres always a few places to watch the fight on line. i never pay for them. Quote
edbassmaster Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 Go to You Tube right after the fights...go to "Sports" and "recent vids". Gotta catch them before they are deleted by YT. Saw the Lesnar/Velasquez fight minutes after it aired. Quote
Super User NorcalBassin Posted October 24, 2010 Super User Posted October 24, 2010 It's crazy watching Brock when he gets hit... he has a good chin, but he turns away and turtles up well before he's "stunned" or hurt as though it's his best defense. He just doesn't like to get hit (say like Chris Leben who comes back stronger after getting hit as opposed to running away). I enjoy seeing him in the cage every time he's on a card, but he just can't hang with strikers that have any takedown defense. Maybe they'll give him someone like Congo next time. As impressive as Cain was tonight, I don't see him holding the belt through 2011... Dos Santos has much crisper striking and a ton of power and Carwin's striking power and wrestling are every bit as good as Cain's if not better (just needs better cardio). The HW division is likely going to be like the LHW has been the past couple years... a new champ every 1-2 fights. That was a really good card tonight. Diego looked like a beast again. The Shields fight was a bit boring (unless you really appreciate world class grappling with very little striking)... but he should look better and better now that he has gotten over the UFC jitters and realizes he has to change whatever he was doing to cut weight... completely out of gas in the 3rd. Super User Maxximus Redneckus Posted October 24, 2010 Super User Posted October 24, 2010 brock will return ...yall hear what Undertaker said to brock when he left the ring "wanna go" Quote
Super User 5bass Posted October 24, 2010 Author Super User Posted October 24, 2010 Besides Lesnar getting beatdown I thought the rest of the fights were pretty much uneventful. The Diego fight was decent but that was about it. I guess Lesnar leaving the cage without the belt made up for the others. Quote
Super User Tin Posted October 24, 2010 Super User Posted October 24, 2010 Yea...no need to pay. You can find sites all over the internet streaming it. If in doubt go to Bodybuilding.com in the Misc section before the event starts. Always a bunch links posted in threads. Quote
