sodaksker Posted October 19, 2010 Posted October 19, 2010 Glen, Any ideas why I am unable to surf this site with my iphone? I have the main page bookmarked but it won't let me click on the links. Thanks Rob Quote
tyrius. Posted October 19, 2010 Posted October 19, 2010 No idea, the forum works just fine on my phone. I go directly to the forum page and not the BR homepage though. Quote
NewAngler Posted October 19, 2010 Posted October 19, 2010 Could be your phones ip address. Some hoodrat ex member was bannished from these boards. His iphone was the culprit. Best to go with Android, they're on the rise ya know. Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted October 19, 2010 BassResource.com Administrator Posted October 19, 2010 The top nav names aren't clickable - for anyone - that's why. Quote
sodaksker Posted October 19, 2010 Author Posted October 19, 2010 aren't those the same ones I click on when at my desktop? Quote
tyrius. Posted October 19, 2010 Posted October 19, 2010 Best to go with Android, they're on the rise ya know. Why would I go with something that's "on the rise" when I can have something that's already at the top? ;D Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted October 19, 2010 BassResource.com Administrator Posted October 19, 2010 On the rise? Android sales have been outpacing iPhone sales for quite some time now because the iPhone just doesn't measure up. It's old. The iPhone has already taken a back seat. Keep up. As for the menu: the words in the green bar are not clickable. Period. It doesn't matter what phone, browser, or OS you're using to access the site. I'm working on fixing that, but it will be some time before I do. Quote
NateFollmer Posted October 19, 2010 Posted October 19, 2010 Can't you switch your Iphone to Desktop/PC mode in the browser? I keep my browser (Android) on Desktop mode and I can browse just fine. When I tap on the Fishing Forums, it's like a hover over and I get the menu, then I can click from there. Quote

Not really surprised that it touched a nerve though. ;D Quote
GTrombly Posted October 19, 2010 Posted October 19, 2010 You'll have to switch to verizon's iphone when at&at goes out of business in july. Quote
tyrius. Posted October 19, 2010 Posted October 19, 2010 So, to get to the forum you need to email yourself the link to the forum http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl If you use that link in your phone then you'll get to the forum. Quote

Same here....I can use the green nav buttons just like normal on both my Evo browser and Dolphin. Seems like Dolphin is slower than the stock browser...everybody seems to love it, though. I was hoping for a decent (ad)blocker but the adp add-on is pretty useless.
NateFollmer Posted October 19, 2010 Posted October 19, 2010 I don't why all the comments on Dolphin say it's slow, works fine for me. I love the tabs and bookmark menu/handling. Gestures are awesome too, you can customize them. I have it set so I just draw a straight line upward to bookmark a page But I digress... Edit: I just set dolphin to render the page like an iphone (change the user agent) and it works ok. Don't know how accurate that is though... Quote
Daddyodo Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 I"m having the same issue with my Ipad. Can't get into my email account with Comcast either. :-[ Quote
