Full moon question

I have a question on full moon's. I know the full moon is coming up and i have a tourny Friday night. Just wondering what color plastics and jigs is best to throw on a full moon. Do i throw natural colors or throw the stuff i regular throw at night like dark colors or do i need to switch to more greens and watermelon's? Someone please help!!!!

Don 't overthink it about colors, any color is fine as long as the lure emits strog vibration and/or sound.

Dark water = dark colors

light (clear) water = light colors

The moon has one and one only very strong affect on bass fishing: it bothers some fishemen extensively. Of course as with everything else about this critter there is an exception. Tidal water bass are affected directly by the moon.

i had heard once that someone said that on a full moon crawdad's turn a greenish color during a full moon and was wondering if it would be wise to switch to a jig with some green in it.

Don 't over think it, ok, bass posses a reflective coating behind the retina called tapetum lucidum which enhances the available light thus allowing them to see in the dark, but the ability to see in low light conditions isn 't that much that includes the ability to see colors, so it doesn 't matter what color the ba

it is the fish is not going to see the color. Dark colors or bright/colors matter only to the point they stand out against the background not because of what color they are.

A black surface lure can bee seen by the fish because to them it stands out against the sky, moonlit or not, a white surface lure will also be seen by the fish because it 's lighter than the background not because it 's black or white, because it stands out against the background.

Burley mentions black/chartreuse, it 's not because the fish are going to see it as chartruese, it 's because it 's lighter and creates constrast against the black.

Bass can see color but not at night, color it's self is meaningless at night. Bass cannot see details at night, so don't waste time with meticulously painted or patterned lures. Contrast is more important by far than color at night.

Bass are color blind, at least that's my opinion. Colors matter to us, not the bass. To bass colors are only light and dark.
