Super User Grey Wolf Posted October 18, 2010 Super User Posted October 18, 2010 The Buckeyes are truly pretenders. Until "The Vest" learns to recruit blue chip lineman and running backs and changes his coaching method , they will only be fodder for "The Big Boys." Quote
shootermcbob Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 As a lifelong Buckeye fan, I couldn't agree more. They are limited on the offensive line, and the sad part is, they never seem to develop. They have some 4 and 5 star recruits, but NONE of them are athletes on the offensive line. They get no push, and they are not nasty. It is a sad statement that maybe your "toughest" nastiest player is your 185 lb running back. Quote
Super User Sam Posted October 18, 2010 Super User Posted October 18, 2010 Bass-Brat, Where is your faith in Sweater Vest? Wisconsin has a very good team this year. I predicted it was going to be a three-team race among Iowa, Wisconsin and Ohio State. And a Big 10 team with one loss should out pace a lower level team in the BCS standings. I am still holding to my prediction of an LSU-South Carolina SEC championship game. Winner to play either Boise, TCU or one of the three Big Ten teams in the BCS title game. Of course, there is always Oklahoma and Oregon, but I just can't see that beautiful trophy leaving the SEC. ;D ;D ;D Quote
tipptruck1 Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 As a life long badger fan the big ten is in the air right now. MSU is in first place with Iowa in second and WI in in third. Out of the schools that hope to win the big ten Iowa has the hardest remaining games. They have WI this week. MSU the next week and Ohio State next month. The good part for Iowa there all at home. WI MSU and Ohio State have the easiest remaining games. So unless MSU can go all the way the big ten will come down to the last week of the season again. If that happens MSU might go play who ever for a national Title. Then who ever is second place in the big ten will go the rose bowl. I can not wait in till next year. The big ten will have a championship game. Plus with Nebraska joining the the big ten next year. The big ten might be a better conference. You will Have MSU, MI, WI, Ohio State, Iowa. Penn State and Nebraska fighting for the big ten. Then trow in a wild card team that comes out of no were. The big ten will be fun to watch for the next few years. Quote
