brushhoggin Posted October 9, 2010 Posted October 9, 2010 all of those. also, insane clown posse. or anything that's generic (the majority of the crap on the radio) beiber, Brittney spears, all that marketed cheese Quote
Stasher1 Posted October 9, 2010 Posted October 9, 2010 Voted U2, could have picked Kiss. Eagles are the best of that bunch to me. X2 I voted U2 as well, but could've just as easily voted Nickleback. I also believe guitarkid is right, and Green Day definitely should've been on the list. It's all crap, I tell ya, crap. Quote
Super User slonezp Posted October 9, 2010 Super User Posted October 9, 2010 That is like saying who else was in the Allied force during WWII BESIDES the US and Britain. ;D That is THE list! Why of course it was these guys Quote
Super User Lund Explorer Posted October 9, 2010 Super User Posted October 9, 2010 Anyone remember that band called Blue Cheer.? They did a cover called summertime blues..my ears bled every time I heard that song.. > Man, you are old if you can remember Blue Cheer. Dion and the Belmont's....hit song was Run Around Sue..I can go back even further if need be.. ;D HEY! I knew Sue, and she was a run around! ;D Quote
lynyrdsky1 Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 Come on the eagles are good band and so is Aerosmith. Dang aerosmith is an extremelly talented band. Kiss are ok im not going to say they suck because they have great showmen ship and their music is completely bad. U2 is ok till they got all political but Nickleback has ALWAYS SUCKED. Very generic band no personality or orginality to them at all. Quote
Super User KYntucky Warmouth Posted October 10, 2010 Super User Posted October 10, 2010 For me it was between kiss, aerosmith, and nickelback. I've got a buddy that loves all three, you should try being in a band with him. Quote
Super User Sam Posted October 10, 2010 Super User Posted October 10, 2010 I voted for Nickleback. But actually the University of Alabama Marching Band is the worst of them all. ;D ;D ;D Quote
Super User Hammer 4 Posted October 10, 2010 Super User Posted October 10, 2010 What? No Pink Floyd? Surely your not suggesting Pink Floyd was a bad band..? :-? Quote

I own one Kiss record... yes, a record. Dressed to Kill. Other than that I can take em or leave em. I would rather listen to Ace Frehley than Don Henley tho. Eagles suck. Quote
FishingBuds Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 I know three of them, but didn't the lead singer of U2 committ suicide before doing a come back? and what is a nickleback? Quote
Boogey Man Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 It was a toss up between U2 and Nickleback but I voted U2. To me they're overrated. As for Kiss, if it wasn't for their live show they wouldn't have made it past the '70's. They do put on a heck of a show live. Quote
Super User Dan: Posted October 10, 2010 Super User Posted October 10, 2010 I know three of them, but didn't the lead singer of U2 committ suicide before doing a come back? and what is a nickleback? Bono? He's still alive unfortunately Quote

He's still alive unfortunately oh, he's U2, i thought he was solo guy. now Im curious who Im thinking of, cause I swear it was U2 that lost their singer. Quote

Super User BASSclary Posted October 11, 2010 Super User Posted October 11, 2010 I think MUSE sucks the most. Quote
Super User skunked_again Posted October 11, 2010 Super User Posted October 11, 2010 no Coldplay? Quote
bigfruits Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 where is chevelle and creed? while i dont like any of the bands on the list, they are far from being the worst or from even being bad bands. with the exception of nickleback of course. Quote
llPa1nll Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 Great post, Great poll. I voted nickelback here is my reasoning. Now some of these bands were really good U2, Kiss, and Aerosmith. The Eagles I cant personally stand and nickelback flat out sucks. U2 was good after they released Achtung Baby they went too mainstream. The Joshua Tree is a great release, same with War. Kiss was a great band their music in the 70s was great take a listen to Kiss Alive and AliveII, granted their releases from the late 80s and going forward have been less than stellar. I put Aerosmith in the same category as Kiss. A great band their releases in the 70s and early 80s were good. I couldnt listen to them when they came out with "Love in an Elevator". However "Toys in the Attic" and "Rocks" are great releases. Quote
Super User Bassin_Fin@tic Posted October 11, 2010 Super User Posted October 11, 2010 I picked nickelback, though in retrospect, I'd rather pay to go to all of their concerts than be paid to listen to one rap song. Amen brother! Nickelback sucks it... at least you COULD call it music though. Quote
SmokeRise1 Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 U2 is one of the greatest bands of all time. They revolutionized rock in the early 80's and still manage to come up with a new sound every few years. A band can't stay relevant for 30+ years without seeming to be going a little "mainstream". I hate Nickelback Quote
Super User fishinfiend Posted October 11, 2010 Super User Posted October 11, 2010 Nickelback is the undeniable victor. This poll makes me think of one of my favorite jokes. What has 9 arms and sucks? Def Leppard ;D Quote
