And by the way,  Florida is 3rd in the nation with the most Hispanics.  California and Texas are 1 and 2.  Illinois is 6th  ;D

Chicago is up north and has the 2nd largest hispanic population outside of Los Angeles. We know what mojo is. Love the mojo. Goya makes a few different flavors. I use picante on my chicken and criollo for grilled shrimp.

I second you should get a charcoal grill and when you figure that out a smoker is next.

Youse guys from Florida have no idea what good food is.

ive been through chi town , it does have its share of hispanics , but so does south florida lol. chicago does have consistantly better mexican food though.

you must have not been to the better restaurants if youve been down here. denny's doesnt count ;) ;D.

Seafood is good in FL.

We don't have much of a cuban population here but I hear their food is good.

I'll be honest I had never heard of mojo until a couple of years ago. A mexican guy I work with turned me on to it. They use it to assist in tenderizing the skirt steak or flank steak they use in everything they cook.

We're very fortunate in Chicago to have so many different ethnicities that the variety of food is endless. I'm not only talking about the "finer"restaurants. Many of the small neighborhood joints are where the good food is at.

I was talking about Chicago not IL and I typed in hispanic rather than mexican because there are filters on a local site that won't allow you to write mexican.

Please forgive me :)

Nuthin' wrong with a cook off ;)

I just read the recipe for MOJO.  I think I'll just stick to teriyaki, on my gas grill, in Florida.
