Super User 5bass Posted October 11, 2010 Super User Posted October 11, 2010 Anybody like rollercoasters? If you do, I suggest you try this one if you ever go to Kings Dominion. I rode it yesterday. I came real close to blacking-out on the big drop. The Intimidator --> http://www.intimidator305.com/public/ride/ Quote
Super User BASSclary Posted October 11, 2010 Super User Posted October 11, 2010 Yeah, I go there a lot and always ride it. On the big drop my eye sight gets very blurry and once in a while i'll back out. I Also rode it in the rain...... lets just say it hurt like hell Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted October 11, 2010 BassResource.com Administrator Posted October 11, 2010 I Love Rollercoasters! That drop would be a definite rush, but there's not much after that. A few corkscrews or something would make it better. I've been skydiving before, so I know I wouldn't black out. Quote
Super User Bassn Blvd Posted October 11, 2010 Super User Posted October 11, 2010 All of you are FREAKS! There ain't no way on God's green earth you'd ever get me on one of those ridiculously insane rides. Quote
Super User .dsaavedra. Posted October 11, 2010 Super User Posted October 11, 2010 i went there like the weekend after they opened the intimidator and the s--t was closed! Quote
Super User KYntucky Warmouth Posted October 11, 2010 Super User Posted October 11, 2010 I love rollcoasters but have chosen to forgoe the fun to avoid another back surgery. I love them, but I'd rather be able to stand and walk. Quote
soccplayer07 Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 i went there like the weekend after they opened the intimidator and the s--t was closed! probably bc someone died...that is insane! Quote
Super User Root beer Posted October 11, 2010 Super User Posted October 11, 2010 I rode the SheiKra at Busch Garden in Tampa when it first open. It was pretty darn sweet. Best wooden roller coaster I have ridden to date is Thunderhead at Dollywood. Quote
Super User Bankbeater Posted October 11, 2010 Super User Posted October 11, 2010 I love them. A couple of the wooden ones at Six Flags in St. Louis will knock your glasses off. Quote
I.rar Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 i loooooooooooooooove the coasters. ive been to cedar point , adventure island , a couple parks in hershey pa , six flags , bush gardens and a couple others im forgetting. i love it! ...except those wooden ones. the ones at the six flags in GA are just terrible. i thought i was going to die when i stepped off those things. they also have a metal one called the ninja or something like that. when i got off that one , i felt like i just got beat up. however , the streak (or blue streak , i cant remember) at cedar point and the montu at bush gardens in tampa fl are the smoothest wood coasters ive been on. Super User bilgerat Posted October 11, 2010 Super User Posted October 11, 2010 I love them. A couple of the wooden ones at Six Flags in St. Louis will knock your glasses off. The last wooden coaster I rode was like riding a shopping cart down a long flight of stairs. I'm done with them... Quote
Other. Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 I rode the Intimidator with my girlfriend and we both blacked out on the curve right after the drop. IT WAS SWEET! Quote
SkilletSizeBass. Posted October 12, 2010 Posted October 12, 2010 This makes me flash back to 1978, working south of Clevland. Our foreman said if the whole crew busted butt all week we would bank some of the work each day and the whole crew go to Cedar point in Sandusky and ride roller coasters all day and get paid for it. There was like 8 of us, man what a blast ;D Quote
MMan16 Posted October 12, 2010 Posted October 12, 2010 That ride looks amazing. Nothing better than the rush from a nice 300ft+ drop. I love it. :o :o Quote
frogtog Posted October 12, 2010 Posted October 12, 2010 They rate up there along with airplanes, ain't no need in pressing my luck. : Quote
