Super User Bassn Blvd Posted October 5, 2010 Super User Posted October 5, 2010 That is how many pair of shoes the wife has stuffed in our closet. : Quote
Deb Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 I take it, she's just starting her collection : ;D Quote
Super User SoFlaBassAddict Posted October 5, 2010 Super User Posted October 5, 2010 I think my girlfriend has a different pair for every day of the year. I've never seen her in the same shoes more than once. It's almost sickening how many pairs of shoes most women have. Quote
NewAngler Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 You don't flip n pitch with a finesse rod, You don't wear brown shoes with black pants... Quote
Super User fourbizz Posted October 5, 2010 Super User Posted October 5, 2010 If my girl gets another pair of expensive shoes, I get a fishing rod. Life is about balance. Quote
Nine Miler Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 I don't know if it is me or all men. I can have ten pair of shoes. I still want to wear my favorite ones as much as possible. I can have ten hats. I still want to wear my favorite one as much as possible. I can have ten pairs of jeans. I still want to wear my favorite ones as much as possible. I can have ten different kinds of beer. I still want to drink my favorite one as much as possible. You get the idea. I guess my conclusion is that most women have many favorites. Wait...maybe they don't have any favorites. Or maybe they are just fickle. Does anybody really know about women? It seems I do not. Quote
Super User Bassn Blvd Posted October 5, 2010 Author Super User Posted October 5, 2010 With that many shoes, it's a good thing her feet don't stink. Quote
Super User Hammer 4 Posted October 5, 2010 Super User Posted October 5, 2010 I'd put my FOOT down, and tell her to stop buying shoes...or, I get to buy new gear every week.. Quote
Super User Fishing Rhino Posted October 5, 2010 Super User Posted October 5, 2010 That is how many pair of shoes the wife has stuffed in our closet. : Aren't you a bit young for Imelda Marcos? Here's a photo of her "shoe closet". Quote

nick76 Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 I am with you. My wife has between 50 and 60 pair. The new rule is that for every pair she gets new she has to get rid of a pair. She finally is following the rules. I cannot be too hard on her though.....I think I have between 20 and 30 pair. I am a shoe junkie as well. Quote
Super User .ghoti. Posted October 5, 2010 Super User Posted October 5, 2010 I don't know how may pairs my wife has. Don't want to know, and don't care. She buys shoes and clothes and bags and ........ etc. I buy fishing tackle. We're both happy. Quote
Super User Tin Posted October 5, 2010 Super User Posted October 5, 2010 $7300 The cost of my gf's Coach collection including an umbrella, two pairs of shoes, a laptop case, four handbags, and four purses. Quote
Nine Miler Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 What is the difference between a purse and a handbag? Quote
Super User Tin Posted October 5, 2010 Super User Posted October 5, 2010 She says a handbag is like a wallet. idk Quote
Super User Raul Posted October 5, 2010 Super User Posted October 5, 2010 Size, that 's the difference. Never said cost. Now on the subject of how many pairs of shoes my wife has, I got no idea :-? , also, I can 't remember how much or when she purchased the latest ones, all I know is a I have my BPS Master Catalog she has shoe catalogs from almost evry manufactuer in the city. All she says to me is I want to purchase a few pairs and shows me the ones she liked and you are not going to believe it ...... I end up picking a few more I like for her ! Obviously I pay the bill. Quote
Nine Miler Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 Raul, you should let her pick a few rods and reels for you, after you have picked a few for yourself of course...now to figure out who to give the bill to... Quote
Super User Long Mike Posted October 6, 2010 Super User Posted October 6, 2010 I take it, she's just starting her collection : ;D Debbie, that one cracked me up. I told my wife about it and she's still laughing. Quote
NewAngler Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 $7300 The cost of my gf's Coach collection including an umbrella, two pairs of shoes, a laptop case, four handbags, and four purses. The keyword I see that statement is "girlfriend." This is a significant word because "girlfriend" is a synonym for "i probably didn't have to pay for it" "wife", on the other hand is a completely different story. You should see my wife's purses an s&$t. It may not be $7,300, but it sucks paying that credit card bill every month. Quote
Super User Raul Posted October 6, 2010 Super User Posted October 6, 2010 Raul, you should let her pick a few rods and reels for you, after you have picked a few for yourself of course...now to figure out who to give the bill to... I don 't think that letting her pick me some rods and reels would be a good idea, probably would end up with them horrible Carrot Sticks, Citrus sticks, pink & purple American Rodsmisth 's rods because of the color, also I have to remember she was the one who have me as a Xmas present a Helicopter Lure kit when we were dating, so no, I 'll pass on that suggestion. Nine Miler Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 Raul, that is funny. It reminds me of a gift I got once. I was a professional golfer for a while, and played on tour in Canada, so yes, at a very high level. One Christmas, my in-laws got me the perfect gift in their eyes. And God bless 'em. It was a belt type device that was desinged to carry a ball or two, some tees, assorted other goods, and a thingy to count strokes. This, to a professional golfer, is what "the Pocket Fisherman" is to KVD, but I digress. Perhaps you could provide some blank specifications and suggest the custom builder of your choice. That way she could pick the colors and designs she fancies without compromising the quality. Quote
NewAngler Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 AHAHAA. That's great. Could you imagine a pro golfer losing a ball in the drink and then reaching to his schweet belt to get a replacement!!! I lol'd. Quote
