lsufan334 Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 Me and my wife have a little tradition we usally do around halloween and we rent a few movies and just lay around and watch horror movies for a night. I have watched a TON of horror movies so a few suggestions would be nice. I know the new Nightmare on Elm St. is coming out this month and that will problably be one of the ones we pick up. We are open to all genres of horror movies. Sooo any suggestions??? Quote
Super User BASSclary Posted October 2, 2010 Super User Posted October 2, 2010 Have you seen the new Friday the 13th that came out like a year or two ago? Saw was good, but not as much horror as thriller suspense IMO. The movies that Rob Zombie re-did like Halloween are pretty good too. If your into movies like SAW then have you seen Hostile ? I believe there is two. Check out Turistas, and I've never seen The Hills have eyes, but I hear its pretty good. I believe they have a sequel also. The resident evil movies was pretty good, but not so much scary as a group of people surviving a man-made zombie apocolypse. Quote
brushhoggin Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 cabin fever! the new 3D wes craven film should be a screamer Quote

Paranormal activity was ok. you could just re watch(if seen) some older ones. The Changeling, Red Rose, The Exorcist, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Sixth Sense. Not really A horror film to me but I loved Planet terror and Death Proof. Quote

Super User KYntucky Warmouth Posted October 4, 2010 Super User Posted October 4, 2010 Kazzam I started to watch Dead Snow at work today but got interupted and started watching Dexter. I really like the Hellraiser movies, House of 1000 Corpses and Devils Rejects, Zombieland, Ginger Snaps, High Tension is a good one, I used to love the original Wizard of Gore. Romero's movies are always good, not only the "Dead" movies but used to love Monkey Shines. Quote

Red Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 I am not really a big horror movie guy, but I do watch them and they have never really bothered me or anything like that, except one. Paranormal Activity scared the crap out of me. I freakin lost sleep over this movie! My wife likes them and can't wait for us to watch the second one together. Quote
