Super User Grey Wolf Posted October 4, 2010 Super User Posted October 4, 2010 Get yourself a job at McDONALDS and dont forget your work permit. Quote
Super User BASSclary Posted October 5, 2010 Author Super User Posted October 5, 2010 I would love to brat, but alot of them are not hiring. Quote
VolFan Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 How old are you? Get a job waiting tables. It'll teach you people skills and face to face communication, which are invaluable. Also, it's straight cash, homie. Quote
NewAngler Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 Get a rake. Get some contractor trash bags. Knock on doors. You can start at my house. Separate the twigs in two sizes; I use it for kindling. Make a pile of the acorns; my girls love to throw them. You're hired. Quote
Super User BASSclary Posted October 5, 2010 Author Super User Posted October 5, 2010 haha whats Harris Teeters? Quote

NewAngler Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 Haha, sorry. I was serious until. "you're hired". I can do my own yard work. I made a killing doing yard work. My company even has a gas blower I could let use until you can pay for it. Quote
VolFan Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 It's a grocery store, My first job was at Kroger, also a grocery store, then at a greenhouse. Cutting yards and raking is a good racket if you can get 5-10 or so houses lined up and do all their landscaping year round. Do you have transportation? Quote
Super User BASSclary Posted October 5, 2010 Author Super User Posted October 5, 2010 I'm willing to walk up to 5 miles, my dad drives up to springfield every morning at about 3-4, and almost my whole family works at IKEA. So, places around there are better. And I do have to go to school everyday so it would have to be after 3 or weekends. Quote
NewAngler Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 Good to see you trying, man. Most kids these days expect everything to be given to them. As it starts to snow and school gets cancelled I can guarantee I will have some part time snow removal jobs available. Back breaking work, but I'd imagine @ $12-15 an hour that's pretty good money for a 15 year old. Good job, junior. Quote
Super User BASSclary Posted October 5, 2010 Author Super User Posted October 5, 2010 Thanks New, I'll remember that next time it snows. And hell, $12-15 is like the lottery! Quote
