brushhoggin Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 2 years ago, she was diagnosed stage 3 ovarian cancer. with a hysterectomy and 6 months of chemo she went into remission for 2 years. i thought she beat it but it still hung over me like a black cloud every day. but last week they found two more small spots that will be removed Wednesday. then 6 more months of chemo. i pray with every bit of my spiritual strength, that this will be the last we hear of it. i cant stand to see my mom like this. thank you all in advance Quote

Super User Gone_Phishin Posted September 28, 2010 Super User Posted September 28, 2010 I hope this is the last you hear of the cells as well. Cancer is a merciless sob. My mom passed a few months back from pancreatic cancer, and it has been the most difficult thing I've ever dealt with. The uncertainty can just drain a family emotionally. I know I don't have to tell you this, but spend as much time with her as possible. Ask questions about you're family history, family recipes, etc. I'll put your mother, you, and your family on my prayer list. Hang in there buddy. Quote
