Super User fishfordollars Posted September 20, 2010 Super User Posted September 20, 2010 Awful quite around here. I saw that Jerry gave Wade the dreaded vote of confidence after the game. Guess Camp Cupcake was not the way to go. Quote
Super User J Francho Posted September 20, 2010 Super User Posted September 20, 2010 I'm here. Rolling my eyes, but here. Quote
preach4bass Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 At least the Redskins lost and the Giants seem to be headed in the same direction! ;D Oh man, it's too early in the season to be looking for the silver lining like this. :-/ Quote
tbird Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Yeah, the Pokes are not looking too good this year. I'm not a big fan of Wade as a coach however I thought his dad Bum was great in his day, another bad choice by Jones. Should have kept Jimmy Johnson IMO. T Quote

Do you suppose he got to take his Extenz along? Quote
Super User Tin Posted September 20, 2010 Super User Posted September 20, 2010 I would LOVE to see the Texans get to the Superbowl this year. lol Jones would jump off the roof of that new stadium. Quote

Nice_Bass Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Being a diehard Bears fan, I would like to talk them up more for the big win over the cowgirls....however it was not the Bears that beat them,...no, they lost all by themselves with no help from anyone. Quote
Uncle Leo Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 I am also a Bears fan. The Bears won because they played as a team. The Cowboys lost because they did not. Football is a team sport, if the Cowboys ever learn that I think they would contend with the talent they have. DA BEARS ;D Quote
Super User Matt Fly Posted September 20, 2010 Super User Posted September 20, 2010 Cowboys lost for various reasons, thus 0-2. Before the season, two questions, O line and FG kicker. Neither seems to have been resolved. Penalties, Barron, coaching, missed fg's. Simple coaching, make some adjustments in the blocking scheme, have Barber chip block and help Barron out and maybe theres no penalty. Take a knee after the holding penalty the play before half that gave Washington 7. Poor coaching. Week 2, same stuff. I'm not worried about being 0-2 in the nfc east. Giants didn't look stellar, Washington isn't that great, and Philly is fixing to have QB battle. I know Dallas has pretty salty defense, and I have seen Dallas with fast starts and slow endings. What counts is the momentum you have when you make the playoffs, and at 0-2, Dallas isn't exactly mathmatically eliminated yet. Next week, they will be 0-3, and Titans are looking very good and I expect the Titans at home to whip the Boys again. At least one of the Texas teams is looking good. Quote
Super User fishfordollars Posted September 20, 2010 Author Super User Posted September 20, 2010 Matt, the titans left town years ago. LOL. Quote
Super User BASSclary Posted September 20, 2010 Super User Posted September 20, 2010 I'm diehard cowboys fan. Quote
NewAngler Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Quote I'm diehard cowboys fan. and I doubt you've ever been to Dallas. Much like all the other Dallas fans around here. Its pathetic. Someone said, "at least the Redskins lost, too..." I know its only week two, but who's that team sitting on top of the NFC East? Hail. Quote
NewAngler Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Quote Matt, the titans left town years ago. LOL. The Texans aren't good, Jack? I'd step out on a limb and say they will finish wth a better record than Dallas, and at worst be the 3rd best team in the AFC. Matt Shaub and Andre Johnson is a dealy combination. Factor that with a beast like defensive line and a pretty solid linebacker corp, you got yourself a pretty good Texas team. Did I mention that the Cowboys suck? Quote

Nope, i've never been to Dallas. I like them because I come from a long line of Dallas fans, starting in texas Quote
Super User fishfordollars Posted September 20, 2010 Author Super User Posted September 20, 2010 Been there. Attended games at the Cotton Bowl, and Texas Stadium, but i am not going to Jerry's new folly unless the Texans are playing there. How is that "Camp Cupcake" working for all you cowboy fans? Quote

Super User BASSclary Posted September 22, 2010 Super User Posted September 22, 2010 Maybe we can face the texans at the superbowl! that'd be cool! 8-) Quote
1inStripes Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 No need for anyone to go off the deep end at this moment. Are they playing to their potential? Lord No. But, they could just as easily be 2-0 as poorly as they have played as they currently are 0-2. 1993 wasn't a bad season when they started 0-2. Quote

A question like that may have the Romo haters out in full force. Are they playing up to their poetential? We know Romo can throw a couple more INT's, and lay the ball on the ground more than he did this last season. Has Roy Williams been dropping them all this year? No, he can drop a few more to show he hasn't changed. Quote

There's a huge difference between the 2010 team and the 1993 team. The 93 team had multiple superstars and Hall of Famers. The 2010 team only has a couple superstars and they play on defense. The 93 team wins in the coach category as well. Quote
