Super User BASSclary Posted September 13, 2010 Super User Posted September 13, 2010 CCowboys 7- Redskins 13. 3 second left. Redskins blitz. Tony scrambles. Tony Connects to Williams for the game winning TD. I Scream with excitement. I scream in agony. Of course the Dumb *** lineman we acquired who last year had the most penalties in the league screws it up. Holding. Game's over. Done. I'm SO mad. I don't think he'll be on the team by tomorrow morning. I HOPE he isn't. And tomorrow i'm going to have re-live it with all the redskins fans blabbering there mouths about it non-stop. EVERY good play Dallas has, penalty... If we want to play at home on super-sunday we have alot of work to do. HORRIBLE endings to BOTH halfs. Mark Colombo. Get well soon. Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted September 13, 2010 BassResource.com Administrator Posted September 13, 2010 I'm not a Skins fan by any stretch of the imagination, but even less a 'Boys fan. The 'Boys shot themselves in the foot with penalties and the Skins played outstanding defense. It was a tight game all the way, with the "right" outcome. Good times! 8-) Quote
Super User Fishing Rhino Posted September 13, 2010 Super User Posted September 13, 2010 The dumbest thing was probably the coach taking a time out when there was a time out for the measurement. The ref even asked him if he still wanted the time out, and he said yes. The Giants/Panthers game was about as poorly played also. Neither team seemed to want to win the game. There were eight or nine turnovers, dropped balls, and sloppy play. The Panthers were the gift that kept on giving. The Giants were only slightly less charitable. Quote
Super User Grey Wolf Posted September 13, 2010 Super User Posted September 13, 2010 It couldn't happen to a more deserving owner (Jerry I want to call all the shots Jones.) Quote
NateFollmer Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 Skins are third on my list of teams... Cowboys are dead last... This makes me happy Quote
Super User Fishing Rhino Posted September 13, 2010 Super User Posted September 13, 2010 It couldn't happen to a more deserving owner (Jerry I want to call all the shots Jones.) LOL.........you must really hate Jerry. (but aren't the owners supposed to call all the shots?) If I had the most valuable team in football, I would. (not to mention he's the reason they are the most valuable team in football.) b He's part of the reason. Their history is a part of the reason. Jerry Jones is the George Steinbrenner of football, sans the long term success of the late Steinbrenner. The most "hated" owners are generally those who are also the most successful, with a few exceptions. Quote
rat-l-trapper Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 I always love seeing the cowboys lose. Especially to a team that isn't very good. Quote
SuskyDude Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 So this is the Cowboy's team all the experts are picking for the Super Bowl? :-? I thought they had "so many weapons." Color me unimpressed. Can Phillips instill any sense of discipline in this team? As a Giants fan, I enjoyed it. Quote

Super User NorcalBassin Posted September 13, 2010 Super User Posted September 13, 2010 What a beautiful game. Hey Rat, watch your mouth... the Skins are going to win the NFC East. ;D ;D ;D Quote
1inStripes Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 What a beautiful game. Hey Rat, watch your mouth... the Skins are going to win the NFC East. ;D ;D ;D They better hope the Giants Eagles and Cowboys are moved to a different division before the end of the season then, and no one is substituted in if thats gonna happen. Super User slonezp Posted September 13, 2010 Super User Posted September 13, 2010 Not to hijack your post but the end of the Bears vs Lions game. I'm a Bears fan and they deserved to lose. Worst thing about it is according to the stats the Bears should have won by a landslide. Bears at Dallas next week. Bears should cleanup. ;D > Quote
Daddyodo Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 Hey Cowboy fans if you really want to get mad at something get mad at the fact that your offensive coordinator did not call off the Hail Mary at the end of the 1st half ;D What a stupid decision They take a kneel down it would have been a totally different ballgame. By the way Orakpoe would have gotten to Romo had he not been mugged on the last play :D GO SKINS!!! Quote
Super User BASSclary Posted September 14, 2010 Author Super User Posted September 14, 2010 I'm not going to blame Jason Garrett. It was one of those plays were if it works, he's a hero. If it doesn't work, you boo him out and while Washington had players back, tashard could have dodged them, but instead he fumbled. Quote
Super User Matt Fly Posted September 14, 2010 Super User Posted September 14, 2010 The Cowboys played poorly, thats for sure. We did the same thing last year opening day in Tampa Bay, I believe Newman took one to the house to put that one on ice. After the holding penalty moved them back, it should have been take a knee and go in behind by 3 points at half-time. On the same note as the Super Bowl picks, Jets sure got alot of hype for not really earning a playoff spot last year. How did that work for them last night. 7 teams in the playoffs from last year opened with a loss. Don't mean much till a few more games are decided. Quote
